You probably don't have to worry. I kind of like him and their interactions(in general) but I don't think he will be the final cast. I also think that there are some better choices for actors, to portray a powerful dragon character. I hope they choose an actor who gives off the impression of "hidden or inner strength."
Hmm. When did I say that I DON'T choose dramas based on stories, and not "just" actors? I am her fan , and being a fan of some actors/actresses, does influence the dramas I check out, but that certainly doesn't mean I will watch all or just Any of their shows. There are several of my favorites' dramas/movies that I have not seen, or drop, so please don't assume too much about me. The plot and content within the show and quality, etc are usually pretty important factors for me as well.
Anyway, Zhang Linghe is a new, popular rising actor, and is in several dramas that will be coming out. He is also in the same company as Li Yitong. He is the main lead in the next drama that Bai Lu is in, that will be airing soon.
I hope we both will be able to enjoy who they choose. Take care!😁👍
I liked her most recent drama and costar. It/he were alright. He may have a bit too much of a "young" feel from him sometimes though, and the wigs & costumes had much to be desired. But if you see the B.T.S. and advertising things they did, he was usually the one taking care of her and appeared a bit more mature or serious than her at times. Haha. Growth and time will probably help him.
Anyway, I agree with you on Xu Kai and about having good chemistry. Someone who is physically attractive, acts well and has charisma; would be very good to have! Haha.😉👍
....But Jin Han? Oh gosh NO!! 😬Please NO... He can be a side character or villain. 😜
Normally, I agree with you about age in most situations, but this drama, has her as a "Shifu" and the main male lead character is one of her disciples, (unless they add to or change things quite a bit),so he probably should look rather youthful and strong, or about her age. He is supposed to look around her age even if she is hundreds/thousands of years older.🤪😉 Luke Chen would be fun, or Zhang Linghe or someone else might work...🤷♀️
