I understand what you mean. She can take awhile to warm up to... I sometimes wonder why she acts or does things that she does; such as climbing over a table to sit on the other side, instead of just walking around it and sitting down. She might have been trying to get her mother's attention there though.
I am not to that episode yet, but you said that she didn't know she was supposed to bow when seeing the Emperor? That seems like a "no brainer" to me. If you have to bow to receive an edict from the Emperor, doesn't it make sense that you would have to when actually seeing/meeting him?

Why do you assume it is always "haters"? So no one is allowed to not like this drama or to not be interested or lose interest in it? Not everyone is the same, and that is Good. I know some fandoms can be petty, but it isn't always or only them. Maybe the rating "should" be higher, but that's okay. I know it can be frustrating, but what's important is if you focus on and enjoy the drama yourself. 😉
I don't understand people putting down this drama. They are probably the same people who love or rate high, crap drama, just because they are "popular" or the main character is ruthless or knows how to fight etc. Oh well. We all have our own tastes and values. 😑...😋
This drama has a good mixture of genres that is kind of surprising, but entertaining and for the most part enjoyable. The acting was great as well. Rated it a #9.
