"Toxic" and "bully", huh? Belief in and following God, is NOT toxic.People need to remember that they are responsible…
A person can love a friend or as a brother etc, and be willing to sacrifice and even die for that person; but that DOESN'T mean that they are gay.
I am excited and waiting to watch this drama, but if they were kissing or doing sexual or other perverse things/behaviors; I certainly wouldn't want to watch it. Our society is certainly degenerating and degrading itself, Not "progressing" in a good and healthy way or direction in this regard.
Hopefully❤Tcent should release WIK with other double MLs dramas sometimes Safe & soon. So, in this way it will…

People need to remember that they are responsible for how they interact and treat others. It is a personal choice.
Also, just because society & media are trying to shove down our throats, and trying to force us to "accept", believe, and welcome with open arms, a certain way of thinking/living/sexual behavior/sining, does NOT make it "right"; NOR does it mean those who believe in God (& try to live accordingly), TOXIC or "bullies" either. 😑🙄
I felt the same when I first started watching Love and Redemption. Her looks started to grow on me
I agree with you that some Hollywood actors & actresses are not very physically attractive.
And of course, ACTING, and having the actor's belief and portraying sincerely their characters' feelings & intentions/modivations realistically, is the MOST important.
Also, an actor or actress's likability, charm or charisma, (as their character) can go a long way in making them become more attractive, then perhaps they may physically be.

I didn't say that they Had to be physically attractive to be a good actor or actress, but it really does HELP to draw in viewers and more interest while watching the show and being more "appealing" to them. Also, it can help in believability, if the character is supposed to be very beautiful or very handsome, and they are Not; it can be difficult to sometimes watch romantic scenes (depends), or to take the show or other actor's words/actions seriously.
On the other hand, being physically attractive isn't enough either to make a drama good or to maintain interest only by itself.
Always found her charming. I like that her beauty is natural.
I had to look up a few of the actresses you mentioned on here. I don't mean to be rude or overly nitpicky, but I do agree with you in terms of physical appearance with: Zhao Lusi, Yang Zi, ..and Quan Xiao Tong (?)(many are quite defensive about this) and maybe 1 or 2 other Chinese actresses(?).😓
Well, anyway, take care and have a nice day/night. 😊

Haha. I can see how that could happen. They do say; that usually when someone sees another person several times or over a period of time, that after each viewing, that person will often appear more attractive or you will feel more fondly towards them.☺️

I personally wouldn't call her a "beauty", but it is interesting how beauty can be (influenced culturally, & by similarities with our family's appearance ) but it is definitely "from the eye of the beholder" as well. It can be an individual assessment of physical attractiveness.
Drama List tapped Bin Bin as the ML. Were there changes made to the cast recently?
I believe so.. Bin Bin has been quarantined in Shanghai, and a show that he was filming near there(?) had to be postponed unexpectedly. Since he still has to finish filming the drama or movie, and Shanghai's lockdown has been going on for awhile, Bin Bin will probably not be available in time to be in this drama( at least that is what I read, but I may have missed something/ got wrong with Google translation).
It is quite heavily rumored on Weibo, that the production has turned to Zhang Linghe, in case Zhang Bin Bin can't, or to replace him. I also heard that filming (for this drama, Kunning), is supposed to start filming mid to late May and that they will start on time (aka: not wait).
I will probably check this out. Maybe I will like her acting more. ...Personally, I don't find the lead actress (Yuan Bingyan) physically very attractive or "pretty". There are times when she looks better than others, but most of her features just don't seem to be that appealing or complimentary together or separately, to me... Hmm...🤔
