So the main lead male (the cousin?)is not going end up with the FL ?π€ usually the one end up with the FL is…
Yes. That is what I read as well, but I think they might change it. I hope that they don't change it to Zhuan Xu, and keep her with Tu Shan Jing or Xiang Liu, but then that will make them more of the "main Male lead" in dramaland...
Wow. This synopsis sounds so different from what I have heard about the book. In the book; Tu Shan Jing is gentle & intelligent (works/manipulates a bit behind the scenes?). He and the main female lead love each other and end up together(?), NOT him loving her silently.. Xiang Liu is dangerous and more of the protecting and loving her silently, one... And the "main male lead" is ambitious for the throne and uses her to get what he wants (or more selfish )and is cousins (?) with her and attracted to/"likes" the female lead. What the heck are they going to do and how are they going to change these characters and story??π€―π¬
Based on the cast list, it looks like Deng Wei will be playing Xiang Liu. If that's true, it's a perfect choice.…
I hope you are correct, but more recently they are saying that Deng Wei will be Tu Shanjing, and Tan Jian Ci will be Xiang Liu. Wang Yi is supposed to be Zhuanxu (I am not sure how to spell his name) the "main male lead".
Actually, these guys are good actors or have potential to be. I will be checking out this drama for THEM, not…
And the 2-3 persons were Not asking what these actors could "offer" either. If they had asked about them, their previous shows or if they could act or were good actors etc; I would have maybe responded, and if I did, it would have been differently. You are right, those kind of questions/curiosity/evaluating, are normal and perfectly fine.

I honestly don't think you understand what I said very well.... I am still perplexed that you felt the need to comment to me in the first place, when it appeared that most of us were mostly "moving on" from that topic, and that several of us on here seemed to have agreed to try to not make this page divisive and to focus on supporting this drama.
I was very tired, so that may have affected my impression of your words intention. If you weren't meaning to be condescending, that's good. But from my perspective it could definitely be taken as such when you "had" to bring in a dictionary explanation. It can give the impression of you trying to act superior like "I am so knowledgeable, and you can't disagree with me", kind of thing, when "hard carry" has more than one meaning or way to use the term. Infact, I have seen people write that, and also imply or mean that the other leading actor is not a good actor/actress.
Also, at that time, quite a few gave the impression that they were inagreement with at least some of what I said. So when you said 'this is what we're ALL taking about', and this type of meaning to "hard carry"; those words seemed to appeared out of the blue, kind of dishonest and manipulative, or trying to use "peer pressure" on me . Those are the reasons why I thought you were being condescending.
I hope you can understand what I am saying. I can get a bit wordy. π
I just laughed for comments about Ju Jingyi. She is such a good actress, she is hard working, if ju jingyi in…
How can you possibly say that the drama would be "bad" without her in it? That opinion is NOT a fact. Also, I'm sorry to say, but that statement sounds Absolutely ridiculous. This drama has a wonderful main male lead and could have at least a few other actresses who could probably "fill her shoes" for this part as well. ...Many actresses and actors are "hardworking".... And what about all the set makers/designers, seamstresses, producers, directors, other "extras" actors, screenwriters etc that help to create and possibly make this drama good, and entertaining to watch...?? Do they not count? Without Ju Jingyi, somehow this drama would just suddenly become trash??
Anyway, have a nice day, (be niceπ) and take care.π
Cha Eun Woo is one of my favorite male actors and although heβs my favorite, I certainly hope Iβm not biased…
HAHAHA! π It IS your opinion that he is a 'great actor'. Yes, there is some "criteria" to being deemed a "great" actor, and he is not there yet. He does seem to slowly be getting a little better, which is good; since he is probably going to be getting parts anyway.
My emojis fit perfectly with what I was thinking/feeling. It can be annoying/frustrating or tiring not being able to enjoy a drama because of someone's acting. I literally struggled to get through the first two episodes of the same drama Twice, but I just couldn't continue. πͺ Also, I have/had NO ONE or "favourites" in mind for this part either, so your assumption is incorrect.

Wow. So I can't be honest with saying 'I tried'? I guess I said something you didn't want to read.π
Cha Eun Woo being a "great actor" is entirely Your opinion. Oh, and are you a fangirl from his kpop group??
Also, you should know that "hate" and disliking someone's acting or disliking someone getting main lead parts, mainly because of looks and fangirls are two DIFFERENT things. I am still checking out this drama.π I am all for him improving in his "acting" .
