Actually, Ding Yuxi is quite a bit more physically attractive than : Cheng Yi, Hong Yi, Mark Chao, Vengo Gao, Ren Jialun, Deng Lun, Johnny Huang, and others. Physical attraction is in the "eye of the beholder", & sometimes culturally influenced as well.

He looks more "general like" and appears more mature. I wonder how he will be styled for this drama. I don't know much about his character description...

I do remember something about Ren Min and people fussing about it. The government not allowing actors to act in more than one drama at a time is beyond controlling and ridiculous. I guess we shall soon find out who the male lead will be.😉

Maybe, but it isn't a Xianxia, so it may end sooner. Like I said, he may start filming a little later. Is it against the law there to film more than one drama at a time?
If the male lead is someone else, it will be a complete surprise, but I have absolute belief in Ding Yuxi if it is him. He seems to be filling out a bit and changing internally as well. At least that is what appears to be happening, after checking out some of the behind the scenes of the drama he is filming now. He is by far one of the very best actors of his generation, so I truly hope things go well. I also hope that he won't feel as if he has to act almost like a kid, because Victoria is several years older (Chinese culture thing). Maybe it will influence him to act even more maturely and more masculine. 😊

It has been awhile since Ding Yuxi's other drama started filming, I just don't remember the exact time. Maybe they will film the parts where he isn't in this drama first, and then he will join them a little later? Victoria has already just started to film. I haven't really seen much of anyone other than Ding Yuxi rumored as the male lead.
It seems as if Liu Yifei will be the female lead. I personally don't think she is right for the part, and isn't that/as attractive. I guess we shall see when everything is confirmed...🥴
