And the sob story of Park TaeYang continues for the 1622689163 time. Even though she is not doing for attention…
Cleary you just want to villainize Taeyang. She is not as conniving as you are trying to construct her to be. She does not have a evil ulterior motives and evil plans like you a trying to say she has. For example when she was giving her things away she just simply knew she was not going to stay in the team so that's why she thought to give them away to the other teammates and it's simply that. She didn't have any other evil purpose.
Also I am tired of the Junyoung favoritism ib Taejun's family. Such blatant favoritism. Everyone is just expected to make sacrifices for Junyoung and to not care about their own happiness or mental health and Junyoung doesn't even blink about it, she just allows it to happen. In ep 11 Taejun even talked about how their mother was only giving Junyoung the black chicken and even Taejun said only you go to eat things like that and I wish Junyoung could have seen the favoritism and the bias there but she just brushed it off and used her typical cheeky personality and said "But to be honest I was pretty awesome". and then even further said. "She gave me more because I was successful". and then smiled. Absolute annoying. A child being successful doesn't mean you neglect the other child. Or that the other child shouldn't get nice things either. You shouldn't be just be giving your child good stuff ONLY if their successful too. So with that mentality so the other child who might not be successful YET you don't give them good stuff because their not as "great" as the other child. That is absolutely messed up. And that's conditional love which a parent should not have. A parent's is supposed to have unconditional love. The parents just go around worshiping Junyoung and then force Taejun to do the same. Absolutely disgusting. Do they even take Taejun as their child?
I just annoys me Junyoung has never thought how her brother is doing in life. She has never thought is he ok, is he sad or happy, is he achieving the stuff he wants to achieve? That is what a normal big sister is supposed to be thinking. We almost forget she is even the older sister because Taejun is always looking after her emotions, All the time Junyoung is just thinking about herself and expects Taejun to look after her instead. She has never thought to look after her brother at all. So basically Junyoung is spoilt and selfish.
Did people watch the preview of ep 13, it seems like everything is not what it all that seems. It's seems like they still going to be friends at least or they still secretly dating??? From the preview Taeyang was lying on Taejun and seems like that was his house. Did they decide to spend one last night together??? Either way, it was nice to see them still hanging around each other in the preview. Also what's with Taeyang and Junghwan frienship, haha . Him saying "Our Taeayang" I am here for the friendship because I am tired of him ripping her apart with his words so it's a nice change.
I watched ALL sports drama and Kim Bok Joo is a different type of light hearted romcom with sports university.…
I guess we just have to agree to disagree. :)
I myself don't personally like all the conflict and turmoil that is happening with Junyoung, it was painful to watch. I agree in that aspect I would have liked if the conflict and angst was cut down way more. However, I am not picky on the ratio of sports that is shown the show. I guess I am more invested in the romance than anything else. So the more romance time I can get in this drama that's what I care about haha.

I saw someone's comment below say that should go play badminton already. Basically saying that they are focusing on other things rather than playing badminton.
I just think each drama is different and this writer wanted to focus more on the emotional and romance aspects in this drama and have the sports as the backdrop.

Yes Weightlifting fairy is more fluffy side completely different mood for sure, but it was still focused heavily on the romance and life issues. It wasn't just sports each scene. It is understandable for people to be disappointed if one expectation aren't met however I do think people expected the drama to be something that it was not meant to be in the first place and then being disappointed by that. Many people mentioned Racket Boys (which I haven't watched myself) when commenting but they are completely different styles of dramas from a glance, the only common thing they have is badminton. And I think many people thought it will be heavily sports like Racket Boys .
I love him....i hope they keep up...the character as soI hate noble idiocy. Manifesting him to exist in real life
Yes I hate noble idiocy too and I am glad the writer is not going that route. Taeyang tried to pull a noble idiocy but Taejun was like heck to the no, not going to happen.
Yes manifesting Taejun into real life, I would marry him in a heartbeat.
Also I don't know why people are getting very triggered that there isn't enough sports. This is a romance and sports drama. It's not just a sports drama. I personally didn't come here thinking they will be just playing sports in every scene because it is a romance drama. If you have watched classic dramas like Weightlifting fairy Kim Bok Joo then you would get the gist of how sport romances are. They focus mainly on the characters lives and emotional struggles and mainly the romances but have the setting in a sports environment. So I would say the focus is a little bit more on the romance and life struggles.
Taejun is absolutely amazing beautiful human being. As I said before he is absolutely husband material. They way he loves Taeyang through every hard situation. They way he is persistent, resilient and unconditional with his love towards Taeyang is so touching. I love how we were all anticipating break ups multiple times and Taejun keeps on saying "nope not going to happen" . He holds onto her no matter what. He loves her so much π₯° The end scene was so touching.
Also you can see in this episode that Taeyang is really trying her best. She is not a villainous or malicious person, she was just a human being who made mistakes and she is trying her best to make everything right and I commend her for that. And I hope she realizes that a human being who made mistakes is still deserving of love.
If you are going through depression, self hate, guilt and have extreme low self esteem it's not that easy to stop…
No worries at all. I am glad you are doing better now.
I think with TY meeting JY and also the kneeling and apologizing shows how very desperate she is to get rid of that feeling that has been weighing on her for too long. Like she said, she can't breathe and it's gotten to a very suffocating level of guilt. And I can imagine her just wanting JY to just say one word, just one word to ease all that guilt . So to me seeing her do all those things shows how desperate she is and I think absolutely realistic and very human of her. I do hope though that TY does stand up for herself and that she does gain strength but it is difficult thing to do when everyone around her is telling her she doesn't deserve good things to happen to her or they make her feel guilty when good things happen to her. So I understand how hard it is for her to think to get herself help because at the moment she thinks she deserves the suffering and that's sad. I always think there is process to getting better and sometimes there is the ugly phase and right now she trying ever immediate option she has to soothe the pain but hopefully she will get the help she needs and starts to fight back emotionally. Her even coming to play badminton is her fighting back already. And she did leave badminton for a bit, but clearly she loves the sport too much and I don't think people should give up something they love. I guess we will see what happens next episode. :)

Sorry that you went through something similar π . And I agree in those difficult moments, it's good to just let it all out and cry. I have had some hard times too so I definitely empathize with Taeyang's character a lot too.

Sorry about what you have gone through π. I have gone through depression myself and it's ok to cry. Actually it's understandable to cry because it's not an easy situation when one is going through hard times. And I deeply believe people don't always have to be composed and strong and put together and I believe that it's always ok to let it all out and cry.
That's not how I saw it. I saw Junyoung again trying to manipulate something innocent into something malicious.…
Exactly if Taeyang gave Junyoung space then Junyoung will now complain about how she is not apologizing or groveling or working to be forgiven. Taeyang is doing the best she can, what else do people expect her to do.
And I agree TY would have absolutely taken the responsibility three years ago because she really cared about JY. And also if JY told the truth of what happened, TY would have absolutely still taken ownership.
