I think we can't assume yet that he will not be in Season 2. They might have prerecorded the episodes before he left. Or they will be able to film quickly after army or they will at least wait till he comes from army, even it means we wait two years for season 2. Because there are some season 2's that take a while after like Doctor Romantic. Seo Kang Joon plays such and important role in Grid so I do think he will be in season 2

Last Episode Discussion

The only explanation I can think of, of Saeha being alive, is that the Saeha we see is actually his past self who went forward in the future. Or they actually faked Saeha's death somehow.

Wow it seems like they planned the ending for a season 2. Because the basically introduced new character literally at the end. There is also still so many unanswered questions. Hopefully they will announce season 2 soon.

I actually would like to see Jackie li with Zi Lu instead, I think that would be a more interesting and refreshing pairing. I like Wan Peng and I have liked the dramas that she has been in, however I would like to see a girl like Jackie Li finally get the main guy. When I saw this drama I was so happy that finally Jackie li was the main female lead, she is beautiful imagery for body positivity. So I think it is unfair that people are focusing more on Wan Peng and are thinking that Wan Peng should get Zi Lu instead. I just think people should give Jackie Li a chance and be more open minded.

Yeah this genre does need more recognition. I think for me I don't rate dramas based on genre I just rate a drama based on if I found it interesting. It's interesting how on different platforms the rating means differently . In Viki 8.7 is considered low and a really good drama can got up to 9.7 in Viki. But in mydramalist 8.5 is considered a really good drama. Either way I hope people can be more open minded when they watch dramas and not biased.

That's why I don't trust ratings anymore. Me I love slice of life and drama's filled with friendship. Hopefully also people are not being bias and are upset that Wang Peng is not the main female lead and are rating it low because of that would be really not nice if they are doing that.

I am really angry about this rating, 7.5! Seriously people. This show deserve way more higher than that. This drama should be at least 8.5 in mydramalist land ratings. This drama is one of the most refreshing dramas I have seen in a while now. I love the main Characters and love the bond and friendship that is building and I love that Jackie Li is the main character.
Please do not rate this drama low because of subs it is absolutely unfair to do that because this an awesome drama.

I think you are right, I was mistaken. She said that Jong Yi asked of Ghost. So Jong Yi might not be Ghost. So is this Jong Yi from Bureau who visited or is this another Jong Yi. I wonder why they pointed out her name.

Further analysis of episode 9

While watching the episode again with my sister we realized when the bureau lady came to the orphanage the orphanage lady said that another lady other than Saebyeok visited the orphanage she said she had a unique name and her name was Jong Yi. This lady was of course the Ghost because she then identified her with the drawing . So the Ghost name is Jong Yi.
So when the other bubbly girl from Admin Bureau was talking to the security man she said her name was Jong Yi too. Complete shock,
So Jong Yi from the admin bureau might be Ghosts Grandma or great Grandma because they might have decided to name Ghost after her grand mother and therefore Jong Yi might be the one who goes with Manok.
And I don't think she would willingly go with Manok.

Wow really. Well I guess it's highly that Eojin is the father of the child. However I am still skeptical. Saeha could still be the father of the child. Maybe she is just simply sitting in the car and talking to him. Also maybe Saeha is the father but didn't survive.

There is still a possibility he doesn't die. They didn't show us what Ghost said. Ghost is very sneaky she might want Saeha to feel like he is going to die in order to get him to do something. She might have also giving him a vague answer too. Saeha also said on the phone If I. So there still seems there is a slight chance of survival and it's not certain.
If Saeha dies then Eojin could be the person. But Ghost has not paid any attention to him at all. So I don't know if he is important to her blood line.

From my understanding.
Saebyeok and Manok don't have to go together to create Ghost blood line. Even though Saebyeok is almost reacting like they do. And even though it also feels like the writer is giving the illusion that Ghost was trying to set them up by locking Manok to have then Saebyeok meet him. However, they actually don't have to interact at all for Ghost to exist.
From my understanding Saebyeok is from Ghost maternal line (mothers line). And Manok is from Ghost panternal line (father line.) Therefore Saebyeok creates Ghost mother. And Manok creates Ghosts father. So Saeybyeok creates Ghost mother with someone else.
And Manok creates Ghost's father with someone else.
When it comes to grandparents one can not simply assume that these two interacted because there are four grand parents involved in orde to create a grandchild.

Also the man said Manok shares 13 percent of DNA so Manok might actually be her Great Grand father instead of Grandfather.

By they way Ghost is moving there is a high chance that Saeha is also her Grandparent. Maybe she allowed Manok to kill the convenient store clerk at that time because she knew Saeha would be there and therefore Saeha would meet Saebyeok who would come to the scene. And therefore I think Saeha and Saebyeok might actually be the people who created her mother.
