You make a really good point! It is possible that the FL memory is distorted. Me and my sister personally believe that the Mother is actually not all that she seems and that she is also the one who took the photos of Chae Jun and the FL.
And that is a really good theory about the Black cat story being reversed and Chae Jun possibly being the Black cat. Even me and my sister where thinking that Chae Jun may have witnessed something, like the Mother of the FL trying to kill someone or killing someone and may be he might have been threatened and blackmailed by the Mother of the FL and may be that is why he committed suicide.

I actually disagree with your statements. Most of the things you have pointed out I do not see them. I personally think that this show is actually very intriguing and very mysterious and complicated. I think it is too quick to put down a drama in the first episode. I don't know if you have watched episode 2 but this drama is not so straightforward and clear cut and is more complicated than one may think. And the Black Cat reference was actually used in the second episode.
Also is relation to the stores looking to bigger than the building. I do not see that at all, and I was actually thinking that this drama was such high quality filmed drama. And to be honest I don't see how the difference of room size to building outside can be such a huge deal breaker for a drama. It happens in dramas and sitcoms all the time.

In relation to the confidentiality. I don't think the ML is not telling the FL about the SML because of confidentiality. I think he wants to be fully sure about what is going on with the SML before he goes around telling people every detail. Second also he did warn her without actually giving out too much information. Saying someone should stay away from someone is telling someone that the person is not good.

I think sometimes it is best to not over analyze every single aspect of a show because sometimes it does stop one from actually seeing the goodness in a drama. There is no show or drama that is perfect. But even in a drama that is imperfectness, the story can still can be intriguing, emotional and still can convey a healing message or message of triumph.
At the end of the day you have a right to your opinion but I personally think the drama is not that bad :)

Thank you :) The drama does call for a lot of theories and a lot of questions :) I feel like we are going to be taken on a whole journey with this drama, things are not as straightforward as everything seems so there is sure to be surprises along the way.

You are my Spring is a very mysterious and complicated drama. These first two episodes had me and my sister utterly confused and talking about so many theories. So I thought I should make a comments on theories.

I will first state some of the questions we might all possibly have.

1. Who is the murderer of the person of the third floor?

2. Is Chae Jun (Stalker Guy) the murderer of the third floor person?

3. Is Chae Jun the high school kid from eighteen years ago who was washing off blood from his clothes?

4. Did the high school kid from eighteen years ago actually kill someone?

5. Is Chae Jun simply a stalker, sociopath and murderer? Or is he not?

6. Who was the person who was took photos of Chae Jun and Da Jung (FL)?

7. Why did Chae Jun kill himself?

8. What are the linkages in whole and the themes to the Black Cat and Music box and the whole story?


So Me and My Sister's theories centers around the Mother of the FL

We personally think that the Mother of the FL plays a more significant role in the plot. Right now it seems like she is just sitting somewhere and having a bunch of phone calls with her daughter but they might be more to her than that.

The person who took the photos of the Chae Jun and FL looked like a woman and not a man, even going further to say that the person kind of looked like the mother of the FL. I wish I could insert a screenshot but I can't attach photos here. I will just say the timestamp episode two 5:40 approximately. So me and my sister think the mother was the one following the daughter and took the photos.
There are many things that point to the mother being obsessive over daughters life and relationships.
First, the significance of the mothers phone calls she is always asking the FL about the tangerine guy ( Chae Jun) and is always curious what is happening with the tangerine guy.

Also when the FL went to the Spiritual Woman, she said to the FL that she is always struggling uphill and when she finally sees a ladder there is someone that drags her down. We thought about how the FL leads mother every time when she was young she would bring a fairytale book or story and the mother would immediately find a away to make the book a horrible and sad ending. In a way the FL was trying to look for an escape with those books but the mother kept on closing that escape with her sad reinterpretation of the stories.
The Spiritual woman immediately went onto further say something which we thought could be important "It could be your parents or a guy your are seeing." Of course we can simple think it's Chae Jun because he is a stalker and a secret sociopath? but what if the sociopath is actually the FL mother?
However, what was interesting, is the FL said "It's not bad," trying to deny what Spiritual lady was saying. The Spiritual woman got slight angry and her friend then told FL off but what the FL said after was interesting she said "What would that make my mom?" I am like is the writer trying to tell us something. Is the mother not all that she seems. Has the mother been trying to sabotage her daughters life and trying to stop her from having a happiness secretly.

The only thing that is also confusing is about the Theory of the mother possibly being the one that took the photo's of Chae Jun and FL is that later on we see a man in a white coat looking at the photos. Who is that man? Is there a possibility that could be the father of the FL. There is still questions of if the mother killed her husband? or not. The FL father could be still alive.

Also there is a possibility that Chae Jun is not the killer or a killer and that someone framed him to be a killer. Did the FL mother frame him or the mysterious man in the white coat frame him? Or was he actually the killer or was he a victim?
Also a major question, where is the FL's brother. Is he still alive?

There are so many theories but I will just stop here. But maybe later I will write some more. :)

Seems like an interesting plot. I saw on the Genre tag Comedy, Is it really going to be comedy, because it seems more thriller and action in plot to me, so I'm wondering why Comedy was put.

I just realized you said no miscommunication. I must have been really tired, and just saw communication instead, my apologies. So I guess we are on different sides, haha. I still think they had lack of communication in the earlier episodes they FL was not saying that she liked him and she was not saying what was upsetting her before. They spent a whole date not knowing if they were together or not. I think in the recent episodes that is when their communication has gotten way more better.

When I said lack of communication I simply just meant that they are really bad at communication. I was not being so detailed as to if I should use lack of communication or no communication. I just simply trying to say they are bad communication. And to be honest lack of communication and no communication are saying quite similar things. Of course no communication is saying there is no communication at all, however they are quite close in meaning. I was just simply saying they are lacking in communication. So basically we both know they don't talk, haha, so we are on the same side and team :)

And I definitely understand the reason for the FML hesitancy. Dating a military man is not easy and long distance too is not easy. But like I said in a comment already above, I am glad they are talking about it and that they had better communication there. And I am glad the FML didn't hide behind her sharp tongue and actually was honest admitted that she liked him and simply said her concerns about the situation and it was also good that ML was understanding and said he will give her time to think.

Yay! I quickly checked for the preview for ep 25-24 on you tube after you commented this. You are right and it seems like she told Zhou ran she likes Liang Mu Ze. Finally she properly cuts off Sml. Now we just have to wait 4 days for the episodes to come :(

Yup not yet, haha just watched the episodes. But it's true they are one step closer. They atleast had better communication. He made it clear he likes her and she said she likes him too but she just hesitant because of him being relocated. Atleast they are talking about the situation. I know in other dramas the ML would have hid that he is getting relocated but atleast in this Drama the ML told immediately.

I really hope the next two episodes the main leads are able to solve their issues. I hope they don't prolong their lack of communication. The last two episodes I didn't know whether to be happy or sad. I didn't know whether the main leads were together or not together. Such a complicated get together or not get together.

Yay! someone who agrees :) Shao Xue is so misunderstood. I am really rooting for Shao Xue. It's seems like she has gone through a lot. I am rooting for her to be able to overcome all her hurt. Yes I agree, I really hope Tian Yong and Shao Xue have a good ending too. And I am also glad that Xia Chu knows a little bit about Shao Xue situation. I am hoping that Xia Chu and Shao Xue become good friends and Xia Chu is able to help her too.

There is no drama that is perfect in writing. You sometimes have to look past a dramas flaws. I personally am enjoying the drama and I am really intrigued to see how the story will pan out.

And Tian Yong and the ML cousin are so cute together. I am really rooting for them. I think with Tian Yong she gets to be her real self. And I Tian Yong says a lot of encouraging things that help her a lot. I still don't get why people are so harsh on her you can see in these recent episodes there is actually depth to her Character and it seems like she has been through a lot. So I really think people are being too harsh on her.

Zhuo Ran is absolutely irritating and such a strange person. He literally sent someone to crash the car.
Knowing that the FL would be in the car. Knowing full well that the FL was trying to also get the lung for a patient. Does he even have a heart.
Is he crazy. He didn't even care, he just keeps on trying to attack the ML not caring who is even there. Like I thought he cared about the FL but clearly he didn't care about her when he sent someone to attack the car on the road. He is such strange person.

What was his point of doing that. Like was he actually just trying to attack ML
Or was it something else. My sister mentioned What if he was trying to stop the girl from getting the lung because maybe the reason why she committed suicide might be also linked to the evil people online who tell people to commit suicide.

I really don't like Zhuo Ran, he is double faced and mean and selfish. I really hope they figure out how he truly is. But it seems like the FL is not trusting him as much anymore.
