Give this young man his flowers— and a lead role too! 💖 With that face, that height, that undeniable charm, and talent, he has what it takes to be a future star. He carries himself with a natural confidence and charisma that's hard to ignore. If he continues on this trajectory, I have no doubt he'll make a lasting mark in the industry. I can't wait to see more of him in future projects. ✨
While I enjoyed the drama overall, the ending felt somewhat rushed, and the final episodes weren't as tightly woven as the rest of the series. That said, it still managed to give me the feels. I only wish we'd seen more of Ye Xinzhi (particularly Wei Daxun’s charming smile 😉) and Xu Chi's romance. I don't think we really needed the third couple. It wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't compelling enough to justify the screen time it received (they could’ve give it to the main couple), especially when the main story was already struggling to wrap things up properly. I just wish we'd gotten a little more time with the main couple being shamelessly happy and lovey-dovey together before the credits rolled. 💖😊
oh no. that's how it ends? I'd put off watching this for so long and am on episode 8. this is why I hate anything…
Hi! 😊 Let's just say I wasn't giving away the ending, only hinting at a chapter in the emotional roller coaster. I try to keep my comments spoiler-free because half the fun is discovering everything for yourself. If you're at Episode 8, buckle up and keep going. The story still has a few aces up its sleeve, and some of the best moments haven't even arrived yet. By the time you finish, there's a good chance this drama will be living rent-free in your head for quite a while! 😉✨
As a longtime fan of Kim Young Kwang, I've loved him in almost every drama he's done, with Moon Baek still standing out as one of his finest performances. But his portrayal of Han Dongjin completely stole my heart.
I’m currently watching his latest drama, Take Charge of My Heart, yet I somehow found myself rewatching this one for what feels like the millionth time. There’s just something about this story that tugs so deeply at the heart. Both Sim Woojoo and Han Dongjin are genuinely kind people, but life’s harsh realities have shaped them into who they are. Watching them find someone who truly understands and loves them unconditionally, only to be forced apart by circumstances and the pain of the past, is absolutely heartbreaking.
I can’t imagine the courage and sorrow it takes to let go of the person you love for the sake of your family. Thinking about their sacrifices still brings tears to my eyes. This is long overdue, but revisiting the drama has reminded me why it remains so special to me. A beautifully emotional story that lingers long after it ends, and an absolute must-watch for melo lovers. ❤️
Currently on Episode 12 and loving every minute of it. ❤️ Wei Daxun is so charming. His smile lights up the screen, and as Ye XinZhi, he’s the perfect quiet supporter, always having Xu Chi’s back and truly being the wind beneath her wings.
The romance is warm, heart-fluttering, and such a joy to watch. And don’t even get me started on the second lead couple. They’re absolutely adorable!
Honestly, I’m not sure I’m ready for this drama to end because I’m enjoying it far too much. 💕✨
I loved him in Call It Love. He portrayed his character so naturally and convincingly that I found myself rewatching the drama several times. I've seen most of his works, and he has never disappointed. His subtle expressions and emotional nuances make every performance memorable. The camera absolutely loves him too. He's incredibly handsome with a striking screen presence. A truly gifted actor who can take on such diverse roles with ease. I can't wait to watch his newest drama, Take Charge of My Heart! ✨💕
That makes me so happy, I’ve been rooting for him to get good scripts with good direction that fits his talent.
Let's keep cheering him on and supporting his work. He has such incredible talent, and I hope he continues to land roles that showcase it even more. A star like him deserves to shine brighter with every project. 💖
I couldn't agree more, especially regarding Liu Xueyi! He absolutely owned the role of Lin Jinqi. Like you, I’ve…
I know, right? Liu Xueyi was absolutely perfect as Lin Jinqi. His performance felt so genuine and heartfelt that I couldn't help getting emotionally invested in his character. Lin Jinqi’s constant devotion and enduring love more than made up for his past mistakes. For me, it was such a touching and memorable love story, and I can't wait to see more of Liu Xueyi in future roles. ❤️
This drama completely blindsided me. I went in with zero expectations and ended up hooked from start to finish. The storytelling, pacing, characters, and time jumps were all so well done.
Liu Xueyi absolutely owned the role of Lin Jinqi. I've seen him in other dramas, but this was the one that made me truly appreciate him. He finally found the perfect role, and he shined.
Tan Songyun was great too, even if I didn't always agree with her character's thoughts and beliefs.
At its heart, this is an epic love story, though I couldn't shake the feeling that one person loved a little more than the other. Still, a thoroughly enjoyable, heart-fluttering watch. ❤️
I’ve watched Kang Hoon in about three dramas before stumbling upon My Bias, My Boss, but somehow, he never left much of an impression on me—I even forgot he was in them! Then I saw him in this drama and thought, HOW did I forget that face?! 😂 He looked SOOO good on my screen, and that smile completely won me over. Needless to say, I’m going back to watch his previous dramas. Can’t wait to see more of this talented and incredibly charming man! ❤️

This series delivers the perfect dose of lighthearted, feel-good fluff. I only wanted to give it an 8, but Kang Hoon looked soooo good on my screen I had to bump the score a little. :)) His smile truly won me over! :))
This drama completely caught me off guard. I went in with zero expectations, only to come out with a story that somehow stayed with me long after I finished watching. This is a drama I didn’t expect to love but did in the end.
And then there’s Li Yun Rui, who absolutely “Dazzling” in this role. I fell hard for his character, Xing Wu. His love language is acts of service, and honestly, it’s impossible not to fall for a man who shows his love through everything he does. He loves his family and friends with his whole heart, always ready to show up, protect them, and have their backs. LYR embodied the character very well.
You can’t help but root for Xing Wu. He’s the kind of person who makes you think, “If I had someone like that by my side, I’d never have to worry about anything.” With someone like Xing Wu in your corner, you sure won’t feel alone.
But beyond the characters, this is a drama for anyone who has ever felt like there’s no hope or found themselves facing one obstacle after another. It reminds you that setbacks don’t have to be the end of the road. Sometimes, you just have to keep moving forward, even when the path ahead isn’t clear.
A surprisingly inspiring watch that will make you laugh, root for the characters, and maybe even remind you not to give up on yourself.
I think everything is well balanced but something was off about how the suspense plot turn out . it’s not thrilling…
Yes, you’re right. I think I just wasn’t really feeling the Xiang Zi character. Maybe it’s the way the character was written or how he was inserted into the plot, but somehow it just didn’t click for me.
I would’ve preferred a stronger backstory for our FL. I feel like that part could’ve been developed better because, for me, it just didn’t quite gel with the rest of the story.
Maybe it’s just me—I don’t know 😂 I guess I simply prefer my dramas to be more slice-of-life, without the need for over-the-top villains. Or maybe I just wanted more screentime and more stories about the boys on the team. 😊
At its heart, Road to Success is a feel-good sports drama about friendship, loyalty, resilience, hard work, and believing in yourself when everyone else says you can’t. And honestly? That was enough.
The sports/slice-of-life storyline was enjoyable, but the unnecessary thriller and suspense elements felt forced and distracted from what could have been a much stronger story. I would have preferred more focus on the players—their struggles, backstories, and how they overcame them.
Some characters, like Ju Li, felt completely unnecessary. Every time she appeared, my fast-forward button got some exercise. 😂
Esther Yu was… well, Esther Yu. If you’ve seen her other dramas, you know what you’re getting. 😅 Chen Jing Ke was good, though I felt he could have brought more depth to Wang Fa’s character.
But let’s be honest—the boys and their team chemistry stole the show. Their loyalty, friendship, determination, and love for football were easily my favorite parts.
This drama is a nice, feel-good sports drama that would have been even better without the unnecessary thriller detour.
And yes, Chen Jing Ke’s face, chest, and abs definitely helped me stay on the road. 😂
