Only 138 ratings. Mine was a 9, so probably a couple of 1s by the usual suspects.
yeah like unnecessary hate. people really are so pressed they take the time out of their day to hate on a drama just for the lolz. today again the ratings went down
I just watched 5 episodes. The show is a love triangle with three guys fighting for one lady. In the show, the…
not to really justify the age gap but that was like super common in those days. Men married late so they could focus on the imperial exam and become an official. Plus it used to take so long to become an official and establish oneself, and no noble family no matter how crappy (as in this case) would give their daughters to a man who is not stable [like even now that is the case, but back then imperial officer was like the IT job]. and girls would get marry super young for one - get like 'rid' off them, build connections and also so they can bear children [Very questionable reasons but that was unfortunately the fact].
Given this context ML is actually by those times very young and successful [ he is like the ancient ver of young hot CEO].That is why he is aura farming against the rest. so historically speaking not a big age gap, but given this is a story the author and scriptwriters are weird to keep it, could have made her 18 [but then again 18 is too old for coming of age in any ancient context. I read somewhere china has rules about historical accuracy, but not sure to what extent]
I love li yun Rui since love like the galaxy. I really liked the fl's character in perfect match So you can imagine how excited I was for this. But to cast him against a minor in romantic CP, that is messed up. Even more since they played father daughter in perfect match. I really can't watch it. He is a wonderful actor and I am sure she has a lot more potential, so this casting choice feels like a disservice to not only them both but also the whole drama team. Leaves a bad taste
i have not started it and really want to but cheng yi has traumatised me. Does he die/everybody except him die and he goes wandering or some sad trope like that in the end? spoil it for me please
defo for me it was the opposite ep 17 onwards it really started picking up. before it was really cute and wholesome but after that the plot started plotting
hahhaha I would have liked to get a stronger glimpse of that too! But honestly? After reading the novel Xie Zheng,…
RIGHT!!!! like the dialogues were so tame except a few unhinged ones. i was expecting kuning palace level (ok i hated him there he was not it but still that obsession but a bit more green flag). I think this director is perfect for that balance

I think for me i don't want to see the sui brothers level of crazy. I disliked them from the start and the good looks did nothing for me (not to take away from the actors who were brilliant). i was just expecting more glimpses of xie zheng being obsessed. it just didn't feel enough. i needed more ep 8 or aura farming moments.

I kinda agree because novel xie zheng was also very cold. I liked they digressed enough which allowed him to form the cutest relationship with changning and yu bao'er. But i just wished they had more glimpses of obsessed xie zheng. like more of ep 8 (iykyk)
I loved this shows idk how to get over it. but only complaint is that I was promised a more obsessive and red flag xie zheng (novel snippets). I was very exited to see that. however, all i got was a pookie
On a side note, winwin is acting so good. My man side quested so hard it became his main quest
