At this point I don't even know what Min-woo is doing😑 He is an attorney in a big firm which probably keeps…
He's trying to destroy his competition by any means necessary, I suppose. Heand the birth mother are the main conflict in this. He's a terrible character but I'm interested to see his ultimate downfall and commuppance.
Have you guys seen the dated list? It was so cute. If someone could translate that, it will be great. I only have…
Sorry to be pedantic, but you meant DATE list? 'Dated list' infers a ddmmyy (or which specific date format applies for different countries in question) list 😆 But, it was insightful to see what was actually ON the list👍.
“If you eat bananas, will you find me "a-peeling"?”These puns are hilarious 😂 it’s just really funny…
Got to disagree there! He dug himself into a hole by trying too hard and I personally found all those puns cringey😬 While her excuse to leave was OTT, I get why she bailed on him. What did made me 😆 was the implication of the ONS with the man she chatted to at the club. I wonder if he'll reappear with a bouquet? 😉
The romance is really happening fast, ep 10 and they're already kissing, I guess modern drama are like that. I'm…
Fast? They're more than halfway through ( 10/16) and after the two times before of her anxieties making her flee, they kissed at the third opportunity, which is right in line with the rule of three. Quick would be FLAW and Now We're Breaking Up. I do agree that her boyfriend should've been more developed than just being kind ... he's a bit Gary Stu, tbh.
A love story with a woman who's mentally a child due of amnesia? Nah, I'll pass. An old Sridevi film also had a similar plot of a woman who had the mind of a kid and it just gives me the heebies to even consider watching something with a plot like that.
I think I saw a "12" mark at the beginning, meaning it's suitable for 12-year olds. That would explain it. Although,…
Ah, a 12 rating by Japanese standards! I don't see how a kid could relate to the main characters but I watched some things back then that weren't for children so who knows?
I could tell chemistry was lacking right from the clips I saw of it! That's a non-starter for a romance ... 😬
Indeed, I've seen that uncomfortable interview and my goodness is her grating voice and behaviour really unlikeable! 🙅♀️Interrupting him, giving him stern and disapproving looks, insults about a 'generational gap' when he's a year older, the loud and fake laughter ... 😣 The only comment I didn't like from him was the one about men's dramas but he overall has more charisma. One of the few interviews with his co-star that he isn't as playful as usual. No actor that she's taken such a dislike to can save any drama they're supposed to be romantically involved in. Just impossible! 😞
I mean, this is a Chinese drama, so they of course would pay more attention to Chinese. (specifically Mandarin)
A lot of C-Dramas have scenes that lack logic like that, as do certain K-dramas. Its almost always excused by some international viewers, which is a shame. And Africa's a whole continent, so the generalising 'looks like he's from Africa' comment could be referring to Arab, black or white, really🤷♀️.
Not done with the drama yet but had to come here to vent because I am sick & tired of the disgusting colorist…
Such a shame that its happened again😞. Tencent have had racist controversies, so this is standard for them. In other C-dramas, I've seen racist scenes before like in The Fox's Summer but to read that this also has it too is unfortunate (which indicates a clear theme). Please don't persevere 🙏 and watch C-dramas that have such scenes, as I doubt a Chinese person would if the situation was reversed (and I have seen a Christmas film that I cannot recall the name of that was extremely racist against Chinese people)🙅♀️. Sickening stuff! 🤮

Honestly, its like a mediocre, live-action fanfic.

There is better resolution of it out there since I last saw it last, thank goodness.
I liked that Japanese remake, though.
