I don't have words to express how disgusting and hate worthy this drama is. The Kotoko in this drama is truly…
It does indeed send a bad message that wearing her crush down and enduring his contempt for her will end in a relationship. The younger brother is truly detestable! The ML seems to be going through angst due to childhood trauma and teen dilemmas and was initially very unlikeable and verbally abusive. From what I recall, she's a useless character on the page and nothing more than an obsessive fan girl. The ML was a typical abusive tsundere. Been a while since I looked at the comic, though. Not much one can do to redeem her unless the scriptwriters improve what she fundamentally is. Ditto the ML.
Yeah, I was ten minutes in and was like, "Oh is this a drama I tried watching a few years back but it wasn't translated?".…
In my years of watching some C-dramas, I notice a keen sense of deja vu after a time, particularly with the widespread recycling of typical clichés and plot devices. It can cause me to become blasé towards something, so that could be it?
enjoyable but i hope 2nd season does a better job with the female characters
Hope so, but from reading the manga, they toned down some of the inherent objectification and perversion from the main male characters e.g. Chota's character in particular is a predatory deviant.
No offence to the actor playing SML but he is definitely going to be on my list of most annoying SML's. According…
👏That and he forcibly put her hand on his arm when he was drunk, which in that context is sexual harassment. The FL has already said that them together is like incest yet the other coach just ignores that and keeps trying, then we're supposed to feel pathos for his struggle in not getting a woman he would've never have had?! Toxic AF. Plus his violence towards the hooligan behind the destructive noodle shop brawl isn't endearing either (they're as bad as each other). The coach is nothing more than a sexually frustrated bully.
I'm at episode 4 & no offense but so far it seems like ml is really stalking our female lead.🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️I…
Even a title for a scene on Youku mentions him following her around. I am seeing some red flags, such as a lack of boundaries and his tetchiness.
Also, the dynamic they have is quite like a parent-child or older sibling-younger sibling one, which isn't my preferred take (didn't like this in the main pair in Love is Science eiter).
I hope he does mature with the noteable passage of time throughout the series, though.
Those who ate watching, what kind of themes/genres is this show? Is it mainly romance?
I'd list it as a: Romance, Thriller, Mystery and Historical with slight Body Horror and Fantasy elements. Some bed scenes push the envelope (somewhat).
She seems to have a lisp or something so that with the childish sounding voice can be distracting.
I also dislike Ju Jingyi's speaking voice as well. I personally dislike their type of voices.
Are these two mentioned above dubbed a lot?

I've read complaints about her acting for a couple of years.
Better subs on Viki compared to YouTube as well.

Is this pisces behaviour or someting 😉?

That lack of chemistry was instrumental in my decision to abandon it, tbh.
Romance lives and dies on chemistry and life is too short to plough through one that doesn't for 16 1 hour 10 mins episodes.
