Too many C-dramas are a shambles writing wise and this is no different. I could tell from the first episode that this was a waste of time. How is she a witch yet there's whole episodes where she doesn't use her abilities? And all this clan discussion when a gathering of witches belong to a coven! Feels tacked on and it could've done without the poorly depicted supernatural elements.
The chemistry just isn't there either and seems like so much effort is put in on both sides, but it just doesn't click as there's no sparks when they kiss. That bed scene was pretty awkward too. There's nothing to keep a viewer hooked writing wise or even chemistry wise.

Subs will tell narrative wise on what I'm missing, but chemistry tends to transcend the language barrier and it isn't there and the kiss was dull (no tension, no spark, no magnetism between them)… that said, the sets, fight scenes, OST, costumes and production quality is visually good, despite the overuse of Dutch angles where it doesn't make sense to do so. 5/10 so far.
