Choking female leads is starting to be IN mini cdramas and lately this kind of awful behavior towards women is…
Agreed! That's one of the main scenes in Broken the Heart and on the poster for that. I've always disliked this non-consensual choking and I find it irresponsible for a drama to romanticise it.
The plot has a different angle towards the 'time travel' of previous mini series I watched. One thing that really…
Which bothers you more: her acting bother you or her weight? For me, her acting in this leaves something to be desired, then her infantilised styling in this is terrible.
It's so wrong but I'm going to say it. I feel like I'm watching porn but with no porn scenes. 😂🤣😂🤣…
😂I'm fighting sleep trying to get through this C-drama, it's sad. There's C-dramas shot like Instagram reels that have better stories and actual chemistry … I fail to see the raison d'etre for this one. Fundamentally, this doesn't work like a car with nothing in the tank so its not going anywhere.
Something about the FL stiff face, acting doesn't feel too natural either. ML is ok here but storyline is average.…
Agreed! Some of the acting was very wooden, from both actors (when she had to cry and he had to act crazy) and the FL in the next drama he's in (Dusk Love) seems even worse! 😞 The law of diminishing returns for his Republican dramas, methinks.
A 🔥 red flag we all like to read about and watch in dramas as completely morally good guys are usually boring…
When you state dramas, I do think internationally instead of just C-dramas. And sometimes there IS scenes similar to Hollywood films and TV in C-dramas (and vice-versa), so while they're from different countries, they can be an overlap of themes.
To be honest, most male characters in historical C-dramas that I've seen have been screwed up to some degree but that isn't to say they couldn't be written to be less toxic and still be passionate kissers🤷♀️

Agreed about the actress, though.

Ep1 part 1 is muted, though.
This Korean version went off the rails by episode twelve so I'd like to see it done better.
