I've always disliked this non-consensual choking and I find it irresponsible for a drama to romanticise it.

😂I'm fighting sleep trying to get through this C-drama, it's sad.
There's C-dramas shot like Instagram reels that have better stories and actual chemistry … I fail to see the raison d'etre for this one.
Fundamentally, this doesn't work like a car with nothing in the tank so its not going anywhere.

From what I've seen of his dramas so far, his best for me was Stealth Walker.

Agreed! Some of the acting was very wooden, from both actors (when she had to cry and he had to act crazy) and the FL in the next drama he's in (Dusk Love) seems even worse! 😞

I've seen some Japanese actresses that can be very convincing playing willing mistresses and generally obsessive, narcissistic compulsive liars.

This Korean version went off the rails by episode twelve so I'd like to see it done better.

When you state dramas, I do think internationally instead of just C-dramas. And sometimes there IS scenes similar to Hollywood films and TV in C-dramas (and vice-versa), so while they're from different countries, they can be an overlap of themes.

To be honest, most male characters in historical C-dramas that I've seen have been screwed up to some degree but that isn't to say they couldn't be written to be less toxic and still be passionate kissers🤷‍♀️

What are you watching? I disagree, as there are mostly good male characters that know how to kiss, though like Colin Firth in Bridget Jones's Diary.

Agreed. He could risk get typecasted as some scenes are already recycled from Maid's Revenge.
