Zhanglinghe has improved significantly since my journey to you ..I didn’t find him handsome or his acting good either in that drama…he is stunning in this drama visually .thanks to director…

He has had several drama since my journey and has improved acting and visuals with each drama. Although I think the female lead is the spotlight in this drama ..

Rewatching .:.just understood why they had first argument …that he was thinking if he left there would be a chance she find another man ..and then she packs all his stuff and prepare divorce decree…that’s when he asks her what she plan to do afterwards..get married again etc…. She answered just need to live life ..and he interprets her divorce preparation and willing to remarry that she doesn’t care about him as he does for her ..

When I first saw this scene I was wondering what his issue is ..then I realized he was afraid she would really find someone else ..so he asks if she can wait for him one year ..yet he did it after mistakenly bad additude and forceful kiss ..so her response was no ..

Nirvana in fire is a classic…tot his day I don’t find much drama close to it…maybe Xiaozhan’s legend of han? but even that can’t compare to nirvana.

Is it just the kissing sex scenes that attract people’? The guy was toxic he wanted kill his own son and he killed the brother who loved him ..although his brother was evil too..his brother was not at fault for killing his mom or making him disfigured

Boy ..based on what said WeiYan really wasn’t that evil like the Sui brothers killing innocent people Lian village . It wasn’t weiyan’s fault that the prince Changxlin Lied about the tiger thing was fake and didn’t want help. But it’s weiyan’s fault for allowing his subordinate (CY’s dad) to take blame?

And why did CY’s parents need suicide ? he really thought if he suicide it save his two daughters? After he died Weiyan still sent people to kill the daughters or just get letter?

I really did not thing the drama tied together your explanations well. Too choppy last ten chapters seem to focus on romance or the silliness of how the female lead didn’t respect rules or knew how to study…

And I really didn’t think it made sense one moment the male lead is drunk and kissy then next scene oth of them go to emporer and killed the eunuch then next scene he is in horse carriage all he wants is kiss kiss kiss and the bathtub ..assume they conssumated their marriage that night…..the romance is lovely just the timeline didn’t make sense to me

Weiyan and his lover …the prince and Weiyan and grand tutor having dinner and Weiyan said something that later caused him to rebel? why did who start the fire…I was confused about plot…the bad general CY KILLED didn’t want to bring army to help ..so how did CY dad got the blame…

I was reading Chinese subtitles still don’t understand how everything correlates …

In episode 1 when male lead was buried n snow when she was wiping snow off him her hair stick fell onto his hand …

She was thinking of not saving him..but decided to continue..when she came back to continue to save him to wipe snow ofhim ..she found her hair stick by his hand…(I think hand)
…thinking that it was fate that her mother in heaven confirming she should save him

Actually I didn’t skip but I don’t understand the plot either…and I watched the whole drama ..many creams shows with beautiful aesthetics focus on h to e beauty of the leads ..and their kissing romance ..which is nice but then they cut the plot to flow properly ..

I appreciate the romantic bathtub scene but made no sense ..he was drugged she saves him but he still in his kissy moments but was fine confronting the emperor and killed the eunuch…? As soon as they get back to carriage he is in his drugged stage again? Makes no sense …obviously done for the romance part…but it could have flow better…

The white hair guy falls from tower yet he doesn’t die? Then QYY gives him poison in cell…I would think he be dead falling from tower.:.

I really think it’s the romance visuals of the actors/actresses that keep the show..ZLH is stunning dashing handsome in this drama ..the so called sexiness soft 2nd male/white guy …its toxic actually…

How did Changyu father is a subordinate of male leads uncle …i see the relationship but don’t really know what h cake did wrong so evil? storyline is confusing to me
