I think I remember that in season one, Mudeok told Uk that she liked to climb to the top of the tree in the forest where she lived, but since she lost her powers she couldn't do it anymore, so she told him that he was the only one who could take her to the top of the tree again, But I can't remember if there was another metaphor where she was alone at the top of the tree and asked him to save her.

talk for yourself, i HATE the crown prince to the guts, So-i as well, i think not every body hates the crown prince because for some he is handsome, his character sometimes is funny and, even when most of the time he is a petty character he has done some good deeds in season one, but for me all meaningless compared to his wrongdoings

Since they can't take out the ice stone from UK, because he would died if that happens, they need another source of power equal to the ice stone , so, this ( fire bird) was necessary, annoying in some ways but necessary, if im not wrong, the pase in the drama should speed up in the comming episodes since we would past the half of the drama :((((

unfortunately, we don't know anything about Buyeon childhood, so, for example, in season two the crown prince mention a memory with her when they were childrens, so we don't know if Uk knows her, we can just expeculate, but with the end so close, it seems difficult that there are a back story between this two

well mostly Buyeon is a complete mystery, they barely revealed or insinuated that she was the one who took Naksu's soul and housed it in her body, we don't know anything else about the rest, neither why she did it nor how she did it

her soul it's presumed dead, but the can always throw a plot twist, after all, with the ice stone and the relics a lot of things are possible, Furthermore, if they want to correct everything that would be morally correct, they probably want to bring her back somehow, after all, Naksu still lives in a body which was not hers.

Another possibility is that they leave Bu Yeon dead, that way turn into a saint who sacrificed her body to achieve a greater and selfless goal.
