Yes, i don't get the mother at all, she expects that SS understand why she does all that without give her not even a kind word, or at leats a little of encouragement, i mean, she literally destroys all her (SS) self esteem in every chance she gets and when she is alone acts like she is a concern mother looking for the best to her daughter

Well for what i know SS Will enter the palace and the empress Will took her under her wings, SS Will make a better version of herself, that means he Will change after she is a better version of herself, that makes that change almost meaningless for me

I can't understard how there are still are people who ship Cheng Shao Shang with Yuan Shen 🤢🤢 that guy it's petty and annoying, every time he talks to Shao Shang tries to make her less, calles her scheming woman, etc.
