My question is the other way round, when will her mum, start being a better parent and stop emotionally abusing her child who she left at birth, she has never said one nice thing to her daughter. Never acknowledged what she went through being left or acknowledged her accomplishments. Thank goodness LBY acknowledged her efforts so publicly in the last episode. What a great guy!
Rewatching and laughed out loud at emperor more upset with Prince Xiao being with He Zhao Jun than the rebellion, because it led to CSS and LY's engagement and now LBY is single lol. Not sure who is the biggest shipper now, the director or the Emperor lol....

In all interactions from her point of view her mother has never put her first. That scene of young CSS eating that candy even after several kids had stepped on it, is so sad. So its not that CSS just didn't get teaching but she also didn't get any familial love too. The parents and brothers were out there in danger but at least they had each other. So I am happy she is having some nice sweet times with LY.
I think CSS's relationship with LY is good experience for her, its part of her growth, she is not ready to be in a relationship with LBY and since LY's family is bad then she gets training to deal with LBY's family from what the father said that family is scary too.

I don't understand why you are so upset with her to be honest you used the word "hate" which is a pretty strong word. I think its just going to be one of those where we just agree we have different opinions. Granted we do not know the rebel's story yet but from her point of view she has every right to be upset and not want bloodshed, even in our current would for instance I don't like wars or bloodshed. If some pple invade my country I will be upset and have similar feelings she has and vice versa. We actually have wars going on right now in the world that I don't get why in the sense of why kill ppl for xyz... . So its super relatable for me, but also respect you can have your own opinion. She was standing in front of the girl's grave she was taking about those pple who killed the girl that is why LY spoke about him wanting to protect ppl just like the magistrate did. CSS wasn't even aware that LBY was there. She spent all that time with that little girl, she should be able to say what she feels and grieve, that conversation for her was just between her and LY. She is not responsible for how LBY took it.

Totally agree with this. Her mum should be calmer. CSS only mirrors what she gets, if you treat her with kindness she positively responds to that. Mum just screaming at her doesn't teach anything. She has been doing very well with aunt and uncle. She has never caused a problem unprovoked.
