I have seen people asking questions in the comment section, and people have been able to answer them. And it’s questions that if people paid a little more attention they would have seen them answered in the series.

Well your first comment was he didn’t kill that many pple, then I debunked that. Then you said it was ok for him to do that as if he had the right to, so it is a difference of morals. You seem to not have been the same drama. The general followed her grandmother to kill her, that’s why ML took the blame so she wouldn’t go after the monster. He possessed the previous king and he died because it was no longer the king making any of those decision.
Spirits are exorcised because it’s not their right to exert revenge on descendants that don’t even know what happened. If that was the way of things Spirits should be running rampant all over. He killed a lot of innocent people and just walks away. It was him who offered that solution to the king, in his guilt making people who were not even born to pay for it and who didn’t know the history just because it was suppressed. Bibi was not even there. Please do not respond to me. I will not change my mind. We have different morals.

He didn’t let them live, he was defeated.
He killed so many people in his existence as the monster. He killed the grandmother, Bibi, the king’s grandfather, the previous king, the king’s brother and plenty other royals probably. He has no right to kill the queen for revenge, that’s not how it works.

That happened to me too, she was humbled later on. Those antics stopped and I liked her in the end.

💯Agree with what @Klio. Just wanted to add, I see the Gui Seal, as say modern day nuclear weapon. So his father was following instruction from the emperor to protect their country. It’s not an ordinary day treasure. I am not saying it’s wrong or right, but his dad motivation was not as simple as “stole the ultimate treasure” it was by instruction by the emperor and he then tried to make sure it never gets used again. That’s why he never told the emperor about the fish.

Agree, point is not to make him too powerful. I also think it helped understand why the Duke didn’t find him as a threat and lowered his guard when he tested and saw ZH didn’t have martial arts. Antu wasn’t there for most of the drama, but it was a good thing for her to have it, it helped set up her character, family background of female warriors and came in very handy when she was there.
I also think we watch revenge dramas from FLs as the main character and we don’t expect them to have martial art skills, the expectation some people have for all men needs to change.

Not everyone can learn martial arts. Seems you missed part of the conversations in the episodes. It was explained a few times during the series. There are a lot of dramas with martial arts, it’s actually a nice change from the norm.

Sure. He wanted the Gui Seal. The Gui Seal was used by the other tribe, it is believed that it controls the zombie/ghost army. The Duke once fell from grace when he fought and lost a battle with them. People also want the seal to control the army, and have power since the emperor has no heir, they can put who they want. You will know more about the seal and the 3 fishes that can be used to open the seal as the episodes progress.

He owed his life to ZBW. ZBW was ZH’s enemy but not the master’s enemy. He has his own story, which was not the focus, but he was saved by ZBW way back when. That’s how he was repaying his debt. The plan was for ZH to never know. the story for them would have hopefully ended when the guy was framed and everyone move on. The plan was for ZH to never have known who the enemy was and if he did know it was to kill him.
Just to add, both masters were conflicted with this, they had an argument. That’s why he left the house early instead of going with ZH in the morning and the other master decided to die, burn in the house when Zang Hai left the house.

He knew all along, he was working for ZBW by training ZH. The other master decided to burn in the house when ZH left because they were all working for ZBW. Both masters owed their lives to ZBW, and were paying back by doing as he said. ZBW was hoping to not have to fight ZH. That is why he framed that other guy, and wanted Zang Hai to work closely with him as a loyal minister to him.
