I think love is super simplified in these dramas. If someone saves you, it equals love. They put FL in a position to be saved in nearly every episode voilà we have made the perfect couple, he saved you yet again 🤣

He sort of tried, it was more like, go live somewhere else and only I will look into it, where as she wants to be involved like FL likes to be. Ep27 was another opportunity to try and reel her back in, but he was sort of nonchalant when speaking to her.

I do think Lu Chang could have done more to bring her into the fold and taken her under his wing like he has done for FL, since that’s his master’s daughter . TL is similar to FL wanting to investigate herself. She has no support whilst doing it unlike FL.

Just watched ep26 some of the comments yesterday were misrepresenting what happened. SML going into prison was part of their plan, he didn’t just go in there for his own benefit. I also like how SML was honoring their agreement by also refusing the bracelet to be given.
I wish they didn’t do this triangle at all though. Male leads had potential for a nice friendship/bromance. Let SML go please he deserves better, they are dragging this!

I came here for her, the acting has been disappointing. Her expressions are just off.

From the comments looks like ep26 is another wasted episode, with the elderly fighting, more triangles will skip today and watch tomorrow.

SML hasn’t crossed any boundaries or tried to use all the help he provided to both “siblings” as leverage for affection . I really wish FL had completely cut him off by now, 25 episodes is a lot, but she has been indecisive which is going to cause a lot of hurt for SML. I like both male leads, FL is lucky 😊. They were going to give him work to do but he had to wait, that’s why he offered to take things to that office.
He does write essays for his father in the past, the Prince would not have asked for his help if he was useless. Again he is not the main lead and they haven’t turned him into the evil guy so they would not show much else about him. He told the ML to keep a distance because of his feelings showing yet they are “related”, even the Princess mentioned how Lu Chang seems jealous of his cousin. Incest rumors would not be good. You need to rewatch, she missed breakfast he went there with food and found out she had gone to that house through Shujun. I don’t see flaws he is just a nice guy who has no grievances in life from a loving family, so makes sense he is a happy person. We can agree to disagree. Happy watching!

He is not just an errand boy he actually asked to help. We actually don’t see him that much, he is not the main lead so they wouldn’t show us what else he is doing. The fact that Prince Rui, asked for his help before means he has history with him and he is good at getting things done.
FL is an adult nothing wrong with them doing archery if she so chooses to give someone a chance, she is a feminist and chose to do this why blame him, they are both adults. You wouldn’t be complaining about this if it was ML.
ML did know she was going to be there, he went to the jewelry shop with food for her and was told where she was. He went there to look for her and pulled her to the side and she gave her usual speech of why she needs to there to see things through.
They both protect her as best as they can, she could have died while ML was in prison , then they would be nothing to protect, but was saved by SML. Both are good men.

Usually when we have a love triangle it doesn’t last this long, and if it does it’s more like unrequited love, no mixed signals and writers usually character assassinate the 2ML, by making him have a bad side because of jealousy or he happens to be on the evil side or something . Here the triangle has really dragged, with FL actually considering being with him, because he is a nice person.
Leads relationships hasn’t progressed because it can’t with this plot. But since the script writers haven’t written anything bad about SML, viewers are now looking to character assassinate him. Pretty interesting, not seen this before.
She will clearly end up with the ML as that’s how things go, and both male leads are nice in my view, I really don’t see a reason to try to find fault in SML just to have ML look to be the best choice.
They are both good in their own way.

She went to offer herself to Prince Yu. She has been working for him and now living with him. Prince Yu, asked his man to kill her once something along those lines. So they buried her in that grave , I think it was to test her loyalty or see how she would react. When she comes back you hear Prince Yu's man say, I still don't trust her.
I think she has more tricks up her sleeve after seeing that handkerchief.
