This comparison doesn’t compute for me in what happened in this drama. What you describe happens to men is nothing compared to what ML did here. This was abuse. The husband here lied about her having bad depression so she couldn’t go back to work. He created a job for her to keep her under control then went to ruin her name when she wanted to find a job, this also put a child’s life in danger. He paid other women to keep her busy socially so she wouldn’t get a job. He dictated what she wore, what she could drink. To top it all off he cheated on her.
Definitely doesn’t deserve the low rating (7.7 when I wrote this). For me, it’s closer to an 8.2. The actors…
Each time I was about to feel sorry for him, I remembered he brought this on himself. He also would have continued to be as he was if she had not stood up against him, staying would only enable his behavior and their son would be in danger of becoming like him. She broke the cycle.

I think TQZ should have quietly disappeared from our screens. She was in the wrong to get with a married man she is not owed anything. It was really good though. Not sure why the rating has gone down. The drama is very well acted, it’s a tough subject but very well done.
