In order to save her from CP in the event of MJH’s plan going wrong SML named her as the goddess, the father is into that immortality spiritual stuff so if he didn’t come back with her yet she was the named one, he would have killed his son. So in her mind she is just doing it to save YQ since he did that to save her.
MJH and YQ made some deal though she is not aware of that the other herb that is needed to cure her fully seems to grow only in Xiyan. Once she is cured she can choose who she wants to be with.

He initially did plan for her to die. she was the only one worthy to die with him, he said in some early episode. It’s only when his plan changed did he start to look for an antidote.

I think both YQ and MJH needed to be honest with her, planned it together, YQ promised not to touch her during this time period he is with her. There is also the poison they both planned YQ will be helping her detox and then she is supposed to choose between the 2 of them after. They are just planning themselves what is good for her without her involved.

I honestly think she fell for CP just the actress acting fell short, that's why people are confused. The girl has had one expression throughout. Even when she wanted to be with Murong Jing He, we knew about it because she would use words, not by actual body language or expression. So in this next arc she had to act out falling in love with CP not just say, and that didn't come across well. I think according to the script we should have seen her falling in love from the time of the temple he dedicated to her. Then after the incense incident she did use her usual method of talking, "I had already chosen you" they also gave us few other instance where she was looking at all the things he had sent her in the past but her expression throughout has just been the same. She also didn't help Murong Jing He when he needed when he went to her camp, instead slapped CP a few times and went to kneel. It's only when the drums started beating that she thought of her dad and did confessed she had lost her way.
