Painting ML as freedom fight I get it but freedom fighters actually target military combatants so the first part of his meeting with FL for me is not justified. real life resistant fighters are facing false allegations on how they treated women, yet the females released say they were treated with respect. The treatment of FL by ML is not right. She wasn’t a threat to him she was drinking wine in a tree, she didn’t threaten his life, he threatened hers first. In fact she became a resistance fighter in her own right. She was resisting oppression from him and trying to survive when he stopped oppressing her the resistance stop from her end.

Love how Jaing Ci is such a girls girl. From taking over the rowing the boat for Ayan to willing to ruin her own reputation for her.

Looking at the synopsis it looks like they might redeem both MLs. It says all three will work together against the emperor. Be interesting to see how they do that.

Problem is thats what usually happens in DV the person who gets hurt when they stay, they excuse the actions and blame themselves. I think now the violence is gone the rating might go up mainly because it’s stopped now. They chose the right actress/actors they are doing a great job portraying the characters.

It might go up since the physical violence against the FL has stopped. Just how to sell falling in love with someone who physically hurt you so much. I mean it does happen I guess in real life. There is a lot of domestic violence in the world.
The acting is solid from all, so will probably go up.
