I think she would like someone to kidnap her for a few years or more, lie to her and create a whole world that he wishes with no access to her family and friends and no knowledge of who she truly is. Make sure everyone around her is lying to maintain the fictional world.

Ngl I am enjoying this phase of LMT where she has free will, she is just doing her thing and loving her relationship with her uncle.

If he hadn’t fallen for her he would have had no problem letting her go. He has already admitted he is afraid to tell her the truth, he is not holding onto her in fear of any revenge. I like the story and his character makes it more interesting but can still admit he is wrong.

She still needs to know the truth. FL is very intelligent they can find a solution together. She just created a whole business out of nothing in front of us. Again I understand they have to create angst so this is not going to happen for story sake. If he hadn’t fallen for he would have had not problem telling her. We might sometimes keep the truth from people we love to not hurt them but when they find out later, we hurt them even more.

The court has forgiven those crimes she deserves to be free just like Lu Wen is free. He was going to free her when he was trying to set her up with other guys but got jealous. it’s no longer about the safety of the country. He admitted he was afraid to tell her, which is understandable I would be too, but still doesn’t mean he is right to withhold the truth. She as a human should have the human right to choose with truthful information where she wants to be. I like ML’s grey character but will also admit he did her wrong. There would be no story without it 😊

It’s not oversimplified. He has taken free will from. Her feelings came because she believed he was her husband, she didn’t choose this he created a whole world for her using lies and her loss of memory against her. I am not saying don’t like the character people can choose to be honest about the deception. Being kind to someone does not negate the web of lies and her making decisions with truthful information.

It’s not justified the court does not care about those crimes in the past anymore. He isn’t even detaining her for that now it’s more about his feelings for her. It’s selfish. He tried to set her up with someone else and his jealousy wouldn’t allow it. I can still like his grey character but at the same time admit he is completely wrong to do this.

He was kind of a green flag in “ I Know I Love You”. So much chemistry with the leads in that one too.

I think for me 2 things can be true at the same time. It started off like you said but he is also wrong to now not tell her the truth now Lu Wen has been pardoned.
He has fallen for her, he owes her the truth it doesn’t matter if she might be a blood thirsty murderer or not. Detaining someone out of a hypothetical fear is not justifiable. Girl is playing house for too long now, she will definitely be heartbroken when she finds out.
