Loved episode 11 and 12, now for the wait 😭

Episode 13 really highlighted the issues with this drama. The delayed actions of Shen Zhiheng are shocking to say the least, he hovered over Miss Mu’s carriage for so long, just so we would get action scenes (albeit cool) but it all feels rather silly. Yes, he is a gentleman, but he is on an opposing team to people who are very evil. He makes claims that Li Ying will be replaced by someone worse, but why not then fight back earlier. It’s clear that Li Ying just wants him to give him respect, and Shen Zhiheng is not psychoanalyzing Li Ying to an extent that would make sense if he was trying to quicken the process of suppressing the villains. Also, letting everyone know about his plan during the game if Mahjong wasn’t a good idea. It was clearly only placed in there so that we can view Shen Zhiheng as outwitting them, but then I think, it would be better to not have told them at all. I’m still enjoying this show, and I believe the last episode will justify the means, but I’m a little worried about how things will go from here.

not yet, but I think we’ll get something akin to that from ep 15 onwards from the teasers I’ve seen.

great chemistry between the leads, the pace picks up from ep 4. So far, no love triangle, and I don’t think there will be one. It’s worth checking out
