I think many times the actors don’t get to make all the decisions in the project like the producer, writer & director. Also the scripts the actors get at the beginning may not be the final products at the end.
Some people are so harsh on this drama. If you watch it from #1 - #30 then it’s a good drama. Many people put in a lot of work to produce this drama. Why can’t we be a little bit kinder to everyone involved in this project? Thanks!

It's true, but in these two cases (his step mom & his son) he worried it will affect his emotion while he is doing surgeries on them. He worried that he won't perform his best in those situations (at 1st he wasn't ableto let go of the anger he had toward his step mom & the love toward his son). Also in one country i know that you can't supervise someone if you have personal relationship with that person. It's called nepotism.

Dr. Ning is a good person, a very good doctor and father. He made people think he is cold, but he has a beautiful heart. His parents’ divorced had a huge impact on him. He was not a good husband & a good son at the beginning, but he realized how much he loves her and he redeemed himself in the last few episodes. Dr. Ruan only loves Dr. Ning, so why should she marry Mr. Xue? No one is perfect and he definitely deserves a second chance of love and the main role. Thanks! 💐💐💐
