It's important to watch through the credits in the last episode as they do a short review on all the patients that came in and what they are doing now after recovering :)
I had this drama in my ptw list for the since it started airing for Yoon Hyun Min, but b/c of all the terrible comments about it, the low rating, and the ending, I've decided to delete it from my harddrive and my ptw list. I'm not someone who can take being so mad at characters for such a long time - especially when the ending sucks lol
Jung Hyun Soo is really all I care about, no matter his past or present self and what he's done.
I just don't like the "otp" anymore - they are dull and boring and everything they do seems to annoy me now... maybe b/c I care so much more for the one they want to punish. :/
Whatever, I'm completing this and more than likely won't delete it for Hyun Soo lol He makes me feel the most and evokes the strongest of emotions out of me. T_T
With the ending I'm heartbroken - Do Han/Kang Woo was everything T_T
I loved him so much, and the fact that he didn't just die, but the fact that he "gave up" and died like that hurts so much more T_T
I know a lot of you actually liked this ending, but it hurts for someone like me, I can take it when secondary characters die or when a character I don't care much for dies, but when a character I really truly like/love dies, it hurts too much to "appreciate the poetic nature of it" like many of you mentioned.
I feel like a wife that has been widowed T_T
*Crying heartfelt tears for my love* I'm holding back my tears desperately.
I already knew about this but it was nice to see an article sharing this for those who didn't know.
I would however not have used the word "famous" b/c it sounds like it's praising the criminal and the crime. a better word-adge would have been "most well known" - as it shows that it's a very well known case that most people know about or have heard about, without sounding like it's "praising" it lol
Otherwise, great job. ^^
I really enjoyed this one ^_^ Kim Young Kwang was as handsome as ever ;) And I personally love his acting ^^ He and Soo Ae were a good match in this drama as well, I don't know why everyone thought they had zero chemistry - I thought they were good together. Love the ost ^^ and the story is a good marathon. Where the second leads are finally not annoying lol
I really enjoyed episodes 1-14 but episodes 15 & 16 for me personally were very boring. :/
I had most of the pieces to the "puzzle" early on, so this drama wasn't as confusing for me as it was for others lol and any pieces I was missing fell into place by episode 14 and 15.
Overall, I think it's a good time travel romance drama. I enjoyed the main couple. And the ending (the last few seconds) were satisfying for me and left me feeling peaceful. I just wish the last 2 episodes would have had a bit more suspense or thrill to it like the other episodes.
DON'T read unless you've seen the entire drama! or at least the episode markers I have here! It could spoil your fun big time!
Thoughts after completing episode 5:
At first I was thinking that the time traveler guy that was helping So Joon out in the beginning might be a bad guy (b/c he never lets him in his house) but after he had mentioned that he had gotten married and had a kid. and then told So Joon to do the same with Ma Ri - I thought ' humm, I wonder if he's Ma Ri's dad?'... If he is then that would explain how he found out about So Joon and his crash and why he helped him with the whole time traveling thing and why he matched them up - not just b/c of the deaths but b/c he is trying to save his daughter and since he's involved he needed to save him too.
This latest discovery though after they got married - he has now disappeared? and his house looks like a ghost house - to be honest, it looks like it was burned. And the other guy now regrets getting involved and we don't know what happened with Ma Ri? O.o Confusing, I wonder what's going on lol
I do think however, if there is a "bad" person involved in what happens to them in the future that it will be that co-worker of his at his work. He's very greedy and ambitious and power hungry and has already expressed his desire to become the chairman or CEO (and he can't do that with So Joon in that position - which means he'd need to somehow steal it). So he could end up finding out about the time travel and or plot to kill him - or now kidnap him? O.o
*edit* - Thoughts after completing episode 10:
Why would it do more harm then good for So Joon and Ma Ri to know who the culprit is? You'd think it'd be better for them to know ahead of time so they can prevent any more evil coming from him.... That part has me trying to unscramble what could happen lol
If they know does this mean that's how the bad things that happen to them in the future happen? But how? Why? B/c they have no evidence? b/c the bad guy knows they know?
I know Ma Ri's father is just trying to protect them - but what has he seen that So Joon hasn't yet? I'm so curious! ;P
For me the majority of this drama isn't complicated or confusing - it's just bits and pieces that confuse me - like this that I just mentioned and the whole disappearance of So Joon and why everyone always says it'd be better for him to break up with Ma Rin now before it's too late - those parts have me baffled and I kept trying to figure out what could happen that makes everything this twisted.
I already guessed her father and the main culprit before episode 5 ;)
p.s. I don't know if "confused" is the correct word to use to describe my tangled thoughts lol
*edit* Thoughts after competing episode 12:
I wonder why the future Ma Rin thinks that by him breaking up with her in the past will somehow save his life lol - I think that's so ridiculous b/c they had never met before and they both died on the same day - so him "breaking up" with her wouldn't save his life :P The future girl is obviously missing some facts here.
I'm glad he realized when he was "fighting" with Ma Rin's mom and he said "I couldn't live without her" and then the "light" went on in his head lol - at least he realized that breaking up with her wouldn't do anything.
It's definitely an unavoidable thing for him to find out about Yong Jin no matter how much Ma Rin's dad tries to prevent that. Now that Gun Suk has the clue they will soon find out everything. and then things will start to spiral out of control - but I have faith that they will be able to turn everything around and live happily together.
I wonder when Ma Rin is going to be reunited with her dad though lol
Also, it doesn't make sense that he disappears when he goes to the future instead of disappearing from the past. Did he somehow come across the bad guy in the future and that's how he "disappears"? I really thought he'd "disappear" or be kidnapped - however it's going to happen in the present. Waiting to get some more clues hehe
*edit* Thoughts after completing episode 13:
I'm just a few minutes into episode 14 now and lol, it seems I was right about Yong Jin (the culprit) following So Joon onto the subway and seeing him disappear - aish, this is bad - and this is why I don't understand why Ma Rin's father thought it'd be okay for them to not know about him? What has changed from them knowing to them not knowing? O.o So Joon just ended up in a predicament b/c of it and Ma Rin is already closing in on the clues without anyone even telling her...
*edit* End of the drama thoughts:
did they have to argue right before the drama ended? I'm glad they made up and decided to go on a date in the last few seconds but I would have preferred no argument and just have had some lovey dovey stuff instead lol
I never really like it when dramas take the turn of the "separation" period between the main characters b/c for most of the drama you have everything in place and when this happens it throws it off a bit. Not that is was the characters choice or anything but they still were apart b/c of circumstances and that's what made it a bit dull for me in the last couple episodes - I mean no more bad guy and no more romance right then, just depression, longing, missing and all that...
oh and that accident scene was just so ridiculous (I know however that human reactions can be really stupid when things like that happen - you freeze in place or do something other than the smart thing (which is to move out of the way) but still...) - she literally runs into the road to grab their marriage certificate when the crosswalk is not on and then he runs to her and holds her waiting it get hit - which luckily the car was smart enough to turn - but then her dad speeds out into the road and waits to get hit by that other car (that btw has a long enough time to stop lol) and saves the kids with his own life - would have been meaningful if there wasn't enough time to save them but there was - so it was a sad and pointless death caused by stupid actions of the other people. And the bad car driver who apparently wanted to die or hit someone lol *drama logic*
Definitely a drama not made for everyone, lol, I'm no exception. I liked it enough to be able to marathon it in one quick go, but if I had to sit week by week to watch this or even watch it as slow marathon, I'd get too bored and drop it. It did have some good elements and interesting scenes and some charismatic characters (Yoon Sang Min) but the overall flow of the story was dull and uninteresting. And lots of the time I felt like the acting from Park Shi Hoo in this was a bit stiff (especially whenever he pulled his gun out - it looked like he was trying to pose for a bond photo or something). Also a few scenes where it looked like they were tying to pull a body fitness advertisement or something - which to me were unnecessary in the drama. Lots of other slight factors I didn't enjoy too. But for the most part, it was an OK drama - your typical "spy" drama (I'm not a fan of spy dramas b/c they are all, slow, and boring IMO and once you've seen one you've pretty much seen them all - with different actors and secrets).
Overall, my favorite character was Yoon Sang Min (yes, the bad guy).
I won't watch this again, but it was OK for a one time watch. Overall rating 5.5
I don't think this was as bad as everyone thinks it is, I enjoyed it for the most part, had a few laughs here and there, a few raised eyebrows at some things that were over the top or a bit weird, and there was mystery involved which was good and kept my interest.
I watched this with a very open mind b/c of the ending but I don't think I needed to lol
I thought this was going to be a drama within a drama or something or a drama about the characters being in some reality show b/c of the things I've heard and the picture ending... but no it is what it is lol
The ending didn't bother me either *more in spoiler* I mean I wasn't sure exactly what was going on but I kind of guessed what they were doing. I know this was a big drama ruiner for a lot of people but I think that's just b/c they didn't see the bigger picture in it.
All in all, I enjoyed the acting from everyone from the good characters to the bad ones. Joon Oh was my favorite although he was a bit outrageously weird in the beginning. I enjoyed watching Tae Ho (CTJ) as the bad guy - his acting was great. I also enjoyed Bong Hee and Ji Ah ;) As well as the rest of the cast.
End result: Better drama then I was expecting - believe me I've seen WAY worse! *coughs* Snowman *coughs*
and I admit there were a few plot holes that I noticed that they never explained.
