I tried and couldn't even get into it, totally not my kind of movie, I ended up skipping through the whole thing. :/ For me personally, it's not worth watching. Others may like it - who knows, judging by the comments many of you enjoyed it - but it just wasn't for me at all.
It's available here, though not sure if there are Eng. subs yet (I'm going to watch it tomorrow). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wCQ5A4v4Yw
*edit* I watched it and it does not have subs - it's not really necessary to have subs to watch though either :) As most of what is understood in this movie is the actions.
I enjoyed the father-son relationship, they were so sweet and loving towards one another (reason why I think the synopsis is misleading) but I could have done without the nudity and perverse nature of the rest of the movie (I personally skipped over those scenes and just watched the father son moments).
I watched the commentary version on youtube raw lol - I didn't realize it was a "commentary" until I started watching but I actually enjoyed it that way (if you can understand some Korean, she explains why he does some things and what his motives are for doing them and what he's thinking ectra - It was really nice to listen to that and watch the movie at the same time ^^) Link: pt.1 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czBgI54hKjw&t=94s // pt.2 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsIXIIvA2PQ&t=61s
Ah, how dare this movie make me cry lol T_T I swear, I cried more than I laughed in this. And I thought I was going to be watching a cute sweet uplifting story about a boy and his dog - instead I got a bittersweet tragic kind of movie about a dog and his master - much like the movie 'Little Heroes' - the dog Fuzz in that movie and the dog Hearty in this one felt so similar :'(

too bad he's a self admitted asshole in real life. if only his personality could be as nice as his face *sigh*
I agree that you don't have to like someone as a person to enjoy their work - I feel the same.
I haven't watched the interviews where he's said this, nor do I know if I want to lol - I like to maintain my best impression of an actor I like if at all possible.
I know you were just giving an explanation to the person who asked, I just wanted to state my opinion on it as well, as I'm always seeing this interview mentioned on everything he is lol
So, am i the only person that thinks he is attractive with his bangs up but not attractive with bangs down? (Maybe…
lol, I think he looks like a sweet kind puppy with his bangs down. He's more charismatic with his bangs up. ;) I like him both ways. But I can totally understand you about the bangs thing b/c I'm like that when it comes to Lee Dong Wook (except in the opposite way) - I don't find him attractive with his bangs up but I love it when he puts them down lol

I personally don't care that he said anything like that, I say mean things about people I see on screen and in person all the time to myself and my family - it doesn't make a person a bad person, it's just their own preference of what they like and don't like. Now if someone were to be upright rude to the persons face then that could be considered being a mean or bad person. But just b/c he thinks that way or says what he thinks to people close to him and "the media" doesn't make him a jerk. lol Liking attractive people and disliking unattractive people is a part of human nature - not everyone can like people they consider "unattractive". So I personally don't find anything terrible about what he said.
- And I must admit there was one time I remember (can't remember the show or actor though) where I found one person to be so unattractive that I personally had to look away whenever they appeared on screen lol - actually I do that with Joo Jin Moo as well... -
Also, sometimes a persons words can come off sounding harsher than what is really inside of them when they are thinking or saying things like that. I know I've gotten looks by my family when I've said harsh things about people but inside I'm really "mousy" about it and don't mean it as harsh as it sounds - even though I do mean what I say - sometimes it just comes out "harsher" (does that make sense?).
I also don't keep up with actors personal lives or interviews and such - I really rarely watch them and usually when I do I regret it - so I avoid them for the most part.
