Second Battle of Yeonpyeong was missing in your write up, which happened in 2002 during the World Cup Soccer which…
I know what you meant, but I don't think it has to be included in the history section, when I wrote the history under the movie. I wrote that it was the true history and what took place right there. I put it there b/c if I added it above as well, I would have just been repeating myself. As there isn't much to say about the movie other than the same thing b/c it literally describes the history. I know it is an important part of history, which is why I didn't leave it out of the article.
Sorry for the misunderstanding of what you wrote earlier but you did say that I was missing that part in my 'write up' not just in the history section. So it looked like you overlooked what I had written in the movie adaption. As I wrote that history there not just the description of the movie, I also included the 'Battle of Yeonpyeong' wikipedia's link right there too, so anyone can check the history out itself - which they would realize I put it all there in the end lol - I'm sorry if I'm coming across rude to you, but I'm not trying to be either, I'm just trying to let you know (if you don't know) that it is still there even if it's not under the actual history part - it doesn't mean I left it out is all I'm trying to say. :)

God bless you for the amount of writing and work you put into this. I guess this is a subject you are really passionate…
Thank you, yes it is. I love Korea's history, however sad it is, more than any other history. It feels as if I'm one with Korea when I read up about it and understand their culture more.

Another movie that somehow covers a bit about protests in the 80s: http://mydramalist.com/7956-the-old-garden…
Thanks for including it in the comments section. I must have bypassed it when I was looking up the movies/dramas. The fact that it has Ji Jin Hee in it, makes me curious as to how the movie is lol

@DreamingKoreanBallad One movie that is missing from your list and should really be included is the 1996 movie,…
Thanks for adding it here chingu, I didn't realize there was another movie, I don't think I would be able to handle watching this one either. I've seen a fair share of movies that have a bit of graphic content in it but I'm always left scarred with the images in my mind.

Title The Secret of My Love Spoiler
So far, Han Ji Sub is my favorite character and I'm looking forward to his storyline. (I went into this drama…
They are both main characters I believe, Ji Sub is the nice guy who will I believe end up with the good girl. Whilst Jae Wook is the greedy evil dude who tries to get everything he wants. They are both leads in different ways. Ji Sub is the good guy while Jae Wook is the antagonist.

So far, Han Ji Sub is my favorite character and I'm looking forward to his storyline. (I went into this drama for Song Chang Eui as well, so I'm glad I like one of his characters lol).

You can totally tell the "nice" girl is a rookie actress - lots of her facial expressions are exposed when she's supposed to be angry, nervous, scared, shocked - she just looks amused lol

Much more detailed synopsis! ^^ from 'OndemandKorea': "Han Ji-seob, a man who’s never felt happy in his life, almost escapes his miserable life against all odds, thanks to his iron will and hard work. However, when his mother’s mistake makes all his attempts come to naught, he’s devastated. Still, he has love of Seo-ra, a warmhearted girl whose life goal is to help others. As their fate becomes intertwined with that of Hae-rim, who gained love at the expense of her sister, and of Jae-wook, whose greed knows no end, each person’s secrets and hidden desires come afloat."

I need to look for a better synopsis, this one tells me so little lol - I just finished episode 3 and I definitely need to know more of the storyline.

Title Save Me Spoiler
I see comments on this site about how if there is a "love line" - which there isn't really (just to clarify) but that doesn't mean that there can't be a hint of the formation of one in the future with her and the guy by the end of the drama ;) Everyone wants her with Dong Cheol, but not me, if in the end of this drama their is a potential love line (just a hint of one) I want it to be with Sang Hwan. Sure I love Dong Cheol just as much as everyone else but I think the right pairing would be Sang Mi + Sang Hwan (just realized their names match lol) :P Just cause Sang Hwan made a mistake in the past by ignoring her b/c of what his dad told him and believing in his father (like a child of a parent should) doesn't make him any less worthy of her. People seem to think that only Dong Cheol is worthy of her affection b/c of all the crap he's been through, but that has nothing to do with people who belong together.

Other than my own opinion on that, I'm glad we were finally shown that the mother really has been being drugged (and she's not really insane). And the fact that the detective seems to be showing a possibility of changing now that he found a dead body and it being by Guseonwon - finally the once un-corrupt cop gone corrupt cop might finally be finding his way out of his corruption and becoming a true cop once again. ^^

That ending though O.O I'm sure nothing will happen but still!!! So scary! I feel so bad for the girl! That guy is a total sadist/pedophile/rapist creep! or whatever label you can label him with.

Why out of everyone did it have to be the sweetest kindest most loyal and selfless friend Tae Ha that had to end up that way? He was the reason I was so engaged in this show, he was my joy when he was on screen, I wanted him to have the happiest ending of them all - if not even be the only one with a happy ending, but instead they tore my heart up and crushed my soul when they took him from me in the end T_T - Yes, I might have known it was going to happen, yes I wished for the virtually impossible, yes I know his character had "death" spelled all over himself from a long time ago, but I didn't want it to happen and it just makes me mad that the writers had to ultimately do this in the end. He was the main one who deserved a happy ending; and with Da Hae at that.
Why do dramas always take away your favorite character??? T_T
On The Master of Revenge Sep 10, 2017
My heart has been crushed :'( Why writers why? Even if I could sense this would happen early one, why prove my gut correct? I wanted so much for it to be wrong! T_T You crushed me at the end of episode 19 and very beginning of 20 T_T I felt so depleted and cried so much, I felt hardly nothing in the last episode (which I deemed practically worthless).

Title The Master of Revenge Spoiler
i knew Tae Ha wouldn't make it out alive but i was still mad they decided to kill him off. he was the only character…
I just finished this and I felt the same, Tae Ha was the one I wanted to see have a happy ending the most out of everyone, and even though I knew the writers were going to screw me over with his story in the end, I still wished he would survive :'( It broke my heart when I knew the inevitable was finally here :'( I cried so much, my body feels depleted.
And just like you, Moo Myeong came off as selfish in the end (actually a few episodes towards the end where I started to actually dislike him and not care if something bad might happen to him, as long as it wouldn't happen to Tae Ha). I suppose that's what leaves a bitter taste in my mouth in the end. By episode 20, I no longer wanted to finish the drama, b/c my reason for liking it died :'( But I still finished it but with a depleted body and crushed soul T_T (I'm glad however that Gil Do killed the monster that killed Tae Ha - that at least made me feel good even if it was for one moment and only a slight "good ridance" came of it - In the end, I miss Tae Ha :'( - every time I calmed down enough to not cry anymore, they brought up a memory of him or a picture of him or mentioned him and I started crying all over again.

1: Yong Pal
2: Hyde Jekll Me
3: ??? Many of the "trainwreck" dramas I've seen outside of those 2 I listed above are b/c I forced myself to watch them for a particular actor (usually involved tons of skip watching) but if I hadn't been watching it for that certain actor/actress, I would have dropped it straight away without even thinking twice about it lol - examples: Snowman, Goddess of Marriage, A Wifes Credentials and My Love Eun Dong. - All dramas I hate but skipped through them for an actor/actress I love lol *I don't recommend doing that*

I thought he was really around 18 or 20 when I was watching him in School 2017, only recently did I find out he's actually 27 <3 That means I'm free to crush on him as much as I want as I'm only a year and a few months older than him ^_^

This sweet handsome actor just had a guest appearance in 'Criminal Minds' - love this actor so much - he deserves more recognition then he gets! Like, someone give him some serious supporting roles or serious 2nd lead roles if not full on MAIN lead roles (which he totally deserves) - I think it's a shame that he gets reduced to side characters or guest appearances most of the time :'(
