Yeah, he is taller than 173cm! Maybe you looked at an old profile. His official profile says 181cm, or about 6ft.I…
I just googled his height and then asked google to tell me his height converted into feet and inches lol - it must have been an old height of his and he had since had a growing spurt lol (I didn't even think about that to be honest when I googled his height) :P I'm glad you found the right height for him - makes glad he is actually taller then what I had seen lol
I always thought he was going to be like Yeo Jin Goo, Yoo Seung Ho or Lee Hyun Woo who have transitioned to adult…
That's exactly what I thought, I don't know why they aren't giving him the same chances... He landed that daily drama as a lead but no regular dramas as a lead yet and he totally deserves it. His character and the character transitioned into Joo Sang Wook's older character is what made me continue watching that drama, I liked their character the most out of everyone in that drama. I know, I'll be anticipating his "real lead roles" - hopefully he will get that chance soon.
I didn't even know this movie existed, could have included it in my article - wish there was a better way to search for these specific era type shows....
What about Geun Soo though? Did he die when they showed those clouds after he left the hospital and was sitting next to the bus stop? Did he die? or not? I honestly cared more about him in this story (even with the little screen-time he was given) then the lead characters. He was living with a guilty conscience his whole life after what he did when he was like what... 11? He struggled long enough, it was time to see some redemptiveness for him and finally be given a load off his shoulders :'( I would have liked to have seen him free himself from his bondage and live happily with In Soon's sister. But instead (if he died) he was burdened his whole life and left like that so sadly? (and I assume no one would have been informed of it either (if he really did die) b/c he left his phone behind (so I'm assuming he had no identification on him)... :/ That's just too sad. Also, I really thought that In Soon never truly cared enough for him as a younger brother, b/c (despite her "you're my little brother" cries) she never understood his position in life and didn't care enough about him to truly wonder what was happening to him - not even unto the end. Like really? She's going to live a happy care-free life and doesn't even bother to care or look into what happened to him? In my eyes, she was just completely selfish. I mean, I can understand her character to a point, but whenever it's related to him, I just can't help but see her this way. "What a "sister"." Smh.
Shin Se Kyung = NO Kim Rae Won = YES Seo Ji Hye = YES But PLEASE terrible drama writer, please make SJH and KRW end up together! I do not want to see him paired with SSK no matter what! Plus SJH and KRW already costarted alongside one another in 'Punch' as coworkers - so I'd love to see them finally paired as a couple.
Just finished rewatching this - great re-watch value as I loved it just as much the second time around as I did the first time. Though this time I recognized the actor who plays the older brother, when I watched it for the first time I didn't know the actor lol
I have several favorite things I love about Korea: I love their history, it's so nice to see a history like theirs and see how far they've come and how much heart and soul they have in overcoming difficulties. They have a "don't give up" spirit that I love. And b/c of their history, I love their culture, I've told my sister that I'd love to be able to just take an entire year off and explore and document Korea and all it's glory. I love their age respect system, how they have different levels of titles they use for age groups and titles amongst the people. That was one of the first things that grabbed me and made me fall for them - the level of respect. You don't get that in many other places. And I think it's admirable. Since I love their dramas, I've also fallen in love with their language. Their language speaks to my soul. I've written on my profile, that though my body may live in one place, Korea is my soul's homeland. Besides all this, their actors are so talented, even from such a young age. It's hard for me to watch a lot of American movies and such now, b/c I can see how weak their acting is compared to Korea's actors/actresses. The emotions they deliver are just on point and really touch you. Their dramas and music are my addictions.
For me it got better from the second episode, and I’m really enjoying it so I think you should give it a…
Oh, wow, I didn't realize there were only going to be 8 episodes of this lol, I was waiting to start it until now b/c I thought there would be the normal 16 XD Guess, I know what I'll be doing all day tomorrow ;) I finished episode 1 just a minute ago and I enjoyed it - especially Seo Young Joo's character and the lead girl. ^^
Amazing Amazing show, I hope it stays forever! ^_^ Music lovers like myself are sure to LOVE this show. Singers remake the legends songs <3 I've found SO many singers I love (both old and new) from this show!
*Thoughts after finishing episode 4*
I like the characters Ji Soo, Ji Ah and Do Kyung ^^
I think Ji Ah is definitely too egotistic but I can understand her and sympathize with her most of the time, but the last encounter of her with Do Kyun, I have to say she deserved that from him. You can't just dis a persons kindness like that just b/c your mad and get away with it. Just like she gets treated unfairly by other people, she too treated him like dirt. And someone who let you off as much as he did, should not be given such treatment.
I love Ji Soo's carefree attitude and how she simply pursues what she likes, she knows herself and she knows what she can and can't handle. A free thinker and one who chases her dreams. Kudo's to her!
I also like Do Kyung's generous and equal rights attitude ^_^ He's not a snobby rich guy who steps on poor people, rather he's a very understanding and righteous guy and that's nice to see in a "rich" chaebol lead ;)
Right now, I don't like Hyuk - he's too selfish and unobservant. Hopefully this will change in the future b/c I want to be able to ship him with Ji Soo when he starts getting his eyes off Ji Ah.
I enjoyed her in Duel, despite my initial thoughts, as I had never seen her before, so I thought she'd be a not so good actress. But she surprised me in that, and after watching 2 episode of 'My Golden Life' so far, I really like her character ^_^ and her acting ^^
That "spiritual father" being burned up alive by himself caused by himself LOL
The crazies remaining crazy b/c they really are crazy - not b/c of some stupid drug.
Sang Mi's father not repenting and changing but remaining the same - that man was UN-redeemable.
That ending with Taecyeon going off to the military (just like in real life) <3 and Sang Mi walking up to the gang and them all smiling <3 We can ship whomever we wish - although in my mind Dong Cheol is a friend while Taec is the lover (in the future when he gets out in the drama lol) XD
Love how Dong Cheol found his father!
And how Taec revealed his father and is back with him mom ^_^
Ah, so refreshing ^_^
