Great start, good middle/beginning, starts getting really draggy around episode 50 and then leaves you with a slightly disappointing end - seriously the last 10 episodes were filled with so much filler (actually the episodes from episode 40 - 60 had tons of filler) I started to get pretty tired of the drama - especially by episode 51 :/ A real let down for me... Does NOT compare to East of Eden at all (in case anyone was wondering - East of Eden is a much better drama). I really liked one couple early on then they fizzled out for me when another couple moved into my view and I was into their love story until the end. Honestly I only finished this for the love stories lol, the business aspect of this drama and the revenge aspect were extremely tiresome, boring and annoying for the most part. :/ *personal opinion*
Great article chingu! ^_^ I enjoyed reading it ^^ I think Faith was my first drama with him but I had no idea who he was at the time (and it was I was still in my LMH phase at the time so I didn't pay much/close attention to the other actors) lol, But I do remember that his character reminded me a lot of the King from the tv series 'Young Blades' the young 13 or so year old King (who always wore that blonde wig - not sure if you've seen it or not but his character's personality was so similar to his in this drama lol). He's now an actor I recognize just seeing - the recognition came from watching so many movies with him in it lol - b/c I didn't even realize he had a cameo in Good Doctor until now :P *Hopefully I will get around to 'God's Quiz' series not too far in the future (still have a lot of back dramas to catch up on a few stalker guide dramas to catch up on - but I'm going to make time for this series soon).
If anyone knows where I can find all those orginial songs the bar girls sang please let me know. And if anyone happens to know where I can find those 2 songs that Hwang Jung Eum sang - especially 'To You' - I have the one by Esther but I like how HJE sings it more - please do let me know ^_^
He's an amazingly versatile actor! Sometimes, I think few roles are too little for him to showcase his acting…
I chose not to mention A New World b/c he wasn't my focus in that film even though I started it for him - I liked the cop guy - so my writing would have been about him and not HJM -
I hated how they ended things in the last episode. Like who the heck in their right mind would EVER date another woman that looks EXACTLY like the woman who screwed your entire life over???!!!!!! >_< No One!!! That honestly made me the maddest! Because Ji Sang was my favorite character or tied favorite character along with Jae Hwa - but they screwed the end up for him and that honestly ticked me off - they could have made him fall in love with a pretty girl who DID NOT look like that Biatch! -_- *Seriously annoyed at this "twist"*
I'm glad Jae Hee did NOT end up with Min Jung (although I was afraid he would) - her "hand burn with the ring inside" - people on here were saying it was b/c she loved Jae Hee sincerely - But that's not how I saw it at all! She was so obsessed with his money and power and image that she purposely let her hand seal around the ring - so she'd always have something of that rich life she loved so much. She did not love Jae Hee at all - she lusted after his money & power that's all folks. She got absolutely ZERO sympathy from me. -_-
I'm happy with the end for Jae Hwa and Bo Ri but at the same time I kind of wanted Bi Dan to be able to half live with her biological dad Ji Sang (before they gave him that crappy end). :/ or at least have him involved in her life regularly - not distant like it looked. :/
I did not like the "over-acting" (I know they were supposed to act that way) of the aunt and brown bear, the mistresses daughter - or the fake-ness of the "morning sickness" from brown bear, Bo Ri and Jae Hwa (I've seen much more believable "morning sickness" shown on screen. and I didn't like the way they over acted *to make it "funny"* those scenes at all.
I enjoyed most of episodes 25 and up (still skipped a little with a few characters I disliked) but episode 52 honestly ruined my good feelings for it :/ *I'll post more in spoiler tag* and the last episode was so draggy - I felt like I was walking through mud! :/
My favorite characters were Jae Hwa, Ji Sang, Bi Dan, Bo Ri, and Jae Hee.
I don't think I will watch this again though :/

I'm started Come Jang Bo Ri back up again - it's been in my on hold list since it came out - I had watched 23 episodes and decided to watch other dramas instead b/c this show wasn't holding my attention at the time - honestly I felt bored with it and annoyed with too many characters in it - but I'm going to finish it now from where I stopped (just watched episode 24 now) b/c I know so many people said it was really good *I still don't see that* The only characters I care about are Bo Ri and the guy that likes her and the evil girls ex-boyfriend - but at the same time Bo Ri is one of the characters I get annoyed with a lot - WHY? b/c of her secrets and lies to the guy that likes her. -_- But anyways, I'm going to finish it whether or not I end up liking it b/c it's on my hard-drive and if I don't like it I can delete it and make room for another drama lol :P

...The so called "TWIST".... yeah, since I've watched so many 'Family' dramas and 'Daily' dramas I can't say that I didn't suspect this - I had a gut feeling early on (but it also didn't bother me b/c Bok Hee's kids weren't her biological kids so I saw no problem even if Hoon Nam turned out to be her kid). But even if my gut was telling me he would end up being the son, I really wanted the son to be Dr. Hong ^^ So many clues were leading to that, but it's not like there weren't ANY clues leading to Hoon Nam. I just preferred it to be Dr. Hong b/c it would make the relationships so much easier and less complicated. If the writers actually changed this at some point in the drama then shame on them b/c Hoon Nam's acting kinda went down a little when this was revealed to him :/ I just feel like Dr. Hong would have been a more perfect choice. and I really wish they wouldn't have cut it to 48 episodes like the commenters said they did - b/c I really think this drama needed the extra 2 episodes to conclude everything better and smoother. The ending was a bit too quick and rough.
The reason I said the last few episodes weren't as good as the rest was b/c of Hoon Nam (the actors) acting kind of went flat when he was hit with the "revelation of who his parents were*... :/
Plot holes:
1. Soo Jin disappears (leaves for San-Fransico) 10 episodes or so before the end and nothing is shown of her and what happens with her and Dr. Hong at all (except for one hint from Dr. Hong saying he was flying out to see her).
2. The loan shark grandma Hwang - she disappeared too without any explanation - the last time we see her is when Bok Hee visits her in the hospital and she's gorging out on Rice cakes. Like what happened with the contract and the assets and everything? :/
3. Dong Soo (Bok Hee's Chauffeur) also disappears shortly after Min Soo's dad arrives on the scene :/ I liked him - would have liked to have continued seeing him :/
4. Did the evil witch ever really stop hating Bok Hee? B/c I just can't believe she put a complete stop to her hatred and blaming everyone and everything for her own problems just b/c she found out Bok Hee had Dementia.... :/
and of course they left us hanging in the end with the so called possible cure for Dementia... I would have liked to have known what happened but it's not a horrible ending either as I've seen so much worse. At least all the relationships had some closure. ;)
I was skeptical of starting this drama b/c of all the negative things I've read about it - but I should just know that other peoples opinions of dramas rarely coincide with mine lol :P
I really enjoyed this drama - enough so that I stayed up late into the night just to continue watching several nights in a row lol I enjoyed every episode from start to finish.

I really liked watching him sing in this drama ;) So cute!
Anyone who likes family dramas or even daily dramas should like this one too.
My favorite characters were: Hoon Nam, Ki Nam, Young Chae, Young Soo ^_^ and then the Mom (Bok Hee) and others after. I didn't really care for the cousin 'Shasha' and his girl (found them annoying for the most part) but I didn't skip more than 2 scenes of theirs. I liked Ki Nam's wife even if she did disappoint me a couple times (she usually corrected herself shortly after so she was easily forgiven :P ). I loved their relationship as a couple ^^ #relationshipgoals #marriagegoals ;)
