I love Taecyeon too. You should watch him in 3 Meals a day. He's really cute in it.
*Noted* ^^ I'll make sure I watch that :)

I didn't find this film as wonderful as everyone else did - maybe b/c it didn't live up to my other favorite war movies/dramas... My favorite part in this movie was the end, the last fight and the sweet scene - I can't say I was bored b/c the film did humor me at times but I wasn't impressed either. People all talk about the cinematography but I didn't see that - I thought it was made more like a play on stage would be - or like a comedy skit - which it fine but not exactly my taste. I watched this b/c Shin Ha Kyung & Jung Jae Young were in it - and since I'm kinda "stalking" their films I had to watch this as well :P Ryu Deok Hwan was an added bonus ^_^ I don't remember any music or songs ... They never actually cast real grounded foreign actors in their movies so I wasn't really bothered by the lack of acting skills in the foreign actors - I tend to just overlook them. I liked how the brotherhood formed between these men - the South, North and the stranded UN soldier - but it wasn't anything impressive. Unlike others, I did not break a single tear. - Like I said it didn't have that big of an impact on me or leave any strong impression in my mind. It's a film I could easily forget but I didn't mind watching it at least once. But it's not the kind of movie I personally would watch again.

Title Fate
What the heck happened to these men in the past that made them become what they became??? What happened that made them do the things they did to each other??? <That was the question I was left with once this movie ended - especially since they showed us a clip of their "happy" time together... I actually really enjoyed this movie though, even though I wish they would have made it a tad longer and shown us a little more past scenes and things that happened... The fight scenes were good and sometimes I was left wondering why they decided to fight in the first place lol - My favorite character (and one of the men I decided to watch this for) was Woo Min (Song Seung Hun) He made the movie what it was and I really liked his character. I thought he was the good guy that was drug into this world of violence b/c of his "friends" - He was the only one who truly wanted to change and start anew. While everyone else was left holding onto old grudges and exacting revenge - he did his best to try and forget it all and leave it in the past - but they just wouldn't let him and that brings us to the battle/fight at the end. He wanted to make his own fate/destiny. *and again in this movie he reminded me of his character Dong Chul from 'East of Eden' ^^ 8/10 for me.
On A Better Tomorrow Apr 27, 2016
It wasn't the best "action" movie I've seen but it was an ok watch - not one I'd watch again though b/c it didn't have enough depth. I started this movie b/c Song Seung Hun was in it and he became my favorite character in this - he reminded me a lot of his character from 'East of Eden' - even the way he looked from the middle of the movie to the end - very Dong Chul like ;) I'm glad I watched it if only for him alone ^^ The brothers were good too and I enjoyed watching them - although to me it felt like the brothers from 'Sirius' - older brother feels guilty and sacrifices his all for his younger brother. All in all the entire end "action" gun fight scene was my favorite part of this whole movie - b/c it's the only time we see all three of these men together. I predicted the end before I even began so I wasn't surprise when it ended like I thought it was going to. I never cried though - probably b/c the characters didn't have enough depth for me to do that... I loved the credits song ^_^ *and I too never saw the "original" so I have nothing to compare it to.*

Title A Better Tomorrow Spoiler
I have never cried so much to a action/crime movie before.
If you don't know already and really want to be spoiled by the ending ------

Yong Chun dies by Tae Min right in front of Hyuk and Chul *he was my personal favorite character* and then Hyuk dies in Chul's arms by Tae Min's bullets - and in the very end Chul kills Tae Min and then proceeds to hold the gun to his own head and kill himself.

Wow, that ending song that the boy sang gave me goosebumps *literally* I was in awe the entire time he was onstage singing <3 That is an amazing voice! This movie reminded me a lot of 'My Paparotti' which I also loved - only here it's about a young half Korean boy who defies the odds with the help of his Director (played by Kim Rae Won) who decides to listen to his heart instead of his calculative side for once - in which he gives up everything for this child. It was beautiful but I wanted more for the end... I feel like I'm missing what happens to him in the end after all that... :/ I definitely recommend this!

Title ...ing Spoiler
Her sickness - what was it supposed to be anyways??? I tried to find info in the comments section but no one mentioned what it was... I understand that she must have had a deformity of the hand - why she only had 3 fingers and her hand was puffy looking but that doesn't explain why she was constantly in and out of the hospital all the time - getting sick or "catching diseases" as the girl said - I just don't understand what kind of "illness" she had...

This movie was simply, OK for me, I didn't get any romantic feelings while watching it, nor did I cry at all. But I didn't mind watching it, if only for Kim Rae Won ^^ I loved his character - such a nice sweet and kind guy :) I didn't really understand the girls "Illness" though :/ *more in spoiler above about my questions on that*. I liked all the photos KRW's character took - they were pretty and full of meaning (haha, there I go again with the "ing") XD ~ I really liked the OST - it was quiet, soft and nice to listen to ^^

My explanation for the title: as I wrote below too -
"...ing - I believe it just means an "end" to things b/c "ing" is put at the end of words like: "Meaning, longing, bringing, saying, loving, dying, saving, helping, intriguing, sacrificing, helping, trusting, everything, waiting, wandering, questioning. allowing, fascinating, drawing, painting, coming, being...ectra..." - It's just an End to things... That's my explanation for the ...ing :) It doesn't have to simply mean only "dying"."

Honestly I think the 2nd title sounds better for this movie 'The happiest time of my life" b/c that is what she says at the end of the movie.

It was good. I just don't get why the title is ...ing.

Ok, yes, I'm going to give it a 10 simply b/c I loved it so much - it was so CUTE ^_^ and I wasn't expecting to enjoy it so much when I started it - but It gave me my 'Sweet 18' feels throughout the entire thing! and I LOVED 'Sweet 18' - Both leads were so cute - Moon Gun Young was as adorable as ever with her little self lol and Kim Rae Won won my heart with his love and devotion for her - even when he was being silly XD Such a sweet, innocent, cute love story ^^ One to be watched again and again ;)
On Insadong Scandal Apr 26, 2016
This one wasn't for me - I was bored most of the time - almost fell asleep a couple of times - only "woke-up" when Kim Rae Won was on screen... He played his role exceptionally well though - I just wasn't into it - Paintings, con artists, thieves and all that - wasn't exciting for me... I did like the song Kim Rae Won sang in it though - wish I could find it - where it's just him singing and not with all the interruptions lol *I didn't know he could sing - so it was nice to hear, especially since he is so good!*

Loved this movie! It's definitely old-school but that's what makes it special to me ^^ It's an action/crime movie in it's own light - mixed in with a lot of I guess you'd call dark humor/comedy which made it brilliant in my eyes. I loved Kim Rae Won's character <3 *He's the reason I even watched this* This movie is fast paced - so it moved along rather quickly - and we see KRW's character change - and it ended in a way that I love ^_^ I also loved the bromance between Dong Hyuk (KRW) and Shin (LJH) ^^ I couldn't help but laugh with what happened in the end with the kids and the dad XD

I enjoyed it, it's a nice family movie - reminded me a lot of the Lifetime movie 'Comfort and Joy' starring Nancy Mckeon - minus the "Christmas theme" :P Although my favorite in this movie was Song Seung Hun ^_^ So handsome ;) and I, like some of you said - Want a husband like him! <3 His personality, attitude, morals and looks ;) I didn't really care for the actress who played the teenage daughter - she needs more acting experience yet... loved the little boy though :P Such a cutie ^^
