I was hoping this movie would have been better given the synopsis - I like the "bad guys gone "good" theme" BUT... this one honestly was a disappointment - I stuck around for Jang Dong Gun as I am a fan ;) but if this were an American film or didn't have any actors I fancied then I would have dropped it early on - I didn't like all the cussing in this one - it was Over-used a great deal (made me wonder if they had any other words in their heads - like couldn't they have come up with more clever lines if they were going to "cuss someone out"?? Do they have to use the same 2 words over and over? and the cursing goes from Korean to TONS of English - which annoyed me even more. :/ *However Jang Dong Gun's English is decent - it's understandable anyways even if he does have an accent.* I really hated that Corporation guy - he was the worst actor in this and it sounded so fake when he swore -_- *someone should have taped his mouth shut*. Some of the fight scenes were well done and nice - including the gunfights - but at times it did get a little "bloody" and "gross" but that could be looked past if the story had more depth or insight - but it was way too surface. and I didn't like the ending - at all. I did like the credits song though lol ~ Decided to give it the same rating as Geanina ~ 5.0
Jang Dong Gun's "cry scenes" were ok, but the woman's "cry scene" was unbearable to watch & they drug it out way too long.

The first part is looked at through the eyes of our leading male - what he sees thinks and believes to be true and the second half is told through the girls eyes - what really happened and such.. In away it kinda reminded me a little of 'More Than Blue' *although for me MTB is better - but just the way that they kinda "repeated the scenes in the others perspective" was similar. All in all it's a nice romantic movie - perfect for a rainy day. This one came off kind of as a Christmas movie b/c it was centered around Christmas time - With a splice of "fantasy" thrown in lol - Nothing thrilling or anything - but it was sweet ^^

Decided to watch this one for Song Seung Hun <3 I enjoyed it for the most part; the acting wasn't perfect - they could have done better but it wasn't horrible either lol - Song Seung Hun acted better than his leading female though ;) and his Japanese was good *at least to my ears - he sounded like he knew what he was saying *unlike his poor English skills in EofE lol** I thought the story was quite romantic ^_^ I don't recall ever seeing the "original" American version - but it did feel a little familiar (maybe I watched a similar movie or something...) The way they placed the theme song "My Love, My Darling a.k.a Unchanined Melody" though was a little "sudden" both times they used it - lol - just when they started getting romantic they'd play the song and even though I like the song (it's an oldie I love) it made me laugh when they played it b/c it seemed so cheesy XD Same for the ending song - although I thought it was pretty & I liked it - they introduced it too "all of the sudden there is a song playing" kinda way, when the songs should have been introduced a little nicer :P Anyways, it's not a bad romantic movie but it's not the best either - but it is worth watching at least once ;) I'll probably re-watch this one again at some point <3

A simple story, that came quietly and slowly brings you into their family - I continued to like the characters more and more - and Kim Rae Won's character was Love <3 It made me cry in the end T_T the family part reminded me a little of 'A Day with my Son' movie - except with this one it was Mother and son rather than Father and son. And it's the first movie where I had to sit through the ending credits b/c I liked the song ;)

Well, I stuck around b/c of those 2 actors (Kim Sang Kyung & Kim Kang Woo) - but overall it was a very odd/strange and boring movie with no actual point. Just 2 guys who are friends who are talking about their "happenings" in life (they are basically narrating the story together - as they show us what they are talking about). It felt like someone was just going around and filming their "memories" or whatnot.... All the guys honestly were losers though :/ I wouldn't want to "date" or even "meet" any of them - their morals were rock bottom. <same for the girls in this - really low morals if they even had any to begin with.> The "hahaha" or funny part I believe is b/c the two guys' stories are interconnected but they don't know it. and the ending was just ___________ Nothing. Anyways, If you have Absolutely NOTHING else to watch then this can be a time Filler but not much more. I won't watch it again.

It was intense! And I again loved Kim Sang Kyung's character <3 Son Ye Jin did a great job as well - and that fireman played by Sol Kyung Gu - *hats off to you man* ^^ [The only reason it didn't get a 9.5 or a 10 was b/c of the way they portrayed the "so-called "christians"" in this movie - it made me upset - I hate it when they make "christians" out to be such weirdo's in movies -_-] Other than that one annoying aspect I loved the rest of the movie! and the special effects are very much like the effects that were in 'D-Day' - You could feel their panic, desperation and longing! I liked the love story that was thrown in and the fathers love for his daughter, pregnant woman, and firefighters ^^ I also enjoyed the little bits of comedy that were strewn in-between all this intensity! :)

*I don't know if "religious" people act like those people did but actual Christians don't act like that - we are VERY normal.*

Finally! Another 10 in my book!!! :D This is what crime movies should be like!! Detail oriented!!! Present & past fully outlined! The cast was amazing - I particularly loved Kim Sang Kyung <3 That is the kind of detective I like! So glad I watched this! I sat here watching with my eyes pealed for any clue they might give me, while biting at my nails *bad habit*, sitting on the edge of my seat as more of the mystery was revealed and then came the twist! I never suspected it! I love it when I am surprised at how clever the story goes!

I really hated that snobby, arrogant show runner girl though -_- she got on my nerves with how she would use people for her benefit just for a show - she acted all high and mighty - thinking she could say whatever she wanted to and they would fall at her feet b/c she throws a few thousand dollars at them -_-

As for James (Jung Woo Sung) - they showed us scars all across his back (like Lee Dong Wook had in Hotel King) - So i assume he was beaten for quite some time - maybe taken as a kid and "raised" to kill by that evil guy who "gave" him all the "jobs" - I wanted his backstory - I felt like he was a pitiful character & instead of dying *just like squirrel :'(* I wanted him to get away and live the life he wanted *whatever that may be* *I'd like to think it would be a "crime-free" life lol ^_^

It was fine, I wasn't bored watching, but I felt like it needed a lot more info on the characters - especially on James played by Jung Woo Sung - Even if he was the "villain" I wanted to know his background story *I'll provide more info on that in a spoiler tag* and honestly I wanted him to get away with it lol - What can I say I thought he was handsome and pitiful lol - Han Hyo Joo was good in her role - although again we don't really know anything about her except that she's a newbie cop - the main thing I liked about her was her hairstyle and clothing lol - very cop/detective like ;) Otherwise I really liked "squirrel" played by Lee Jun Ho - He was so cute! and his character was charming ^^ I was surprised to also see Byun Yo Han in this *I didn't know he was in it* although he has very minimal screen-time - he was the driver for the "villains" :P I'm going to give it a 7 b/c it lacked depth and the ending wasn't really to my taste or what I wanted (for 2 characters mainly). It was focused on just finding and chasing "James" until they "accomplished their mission" :/ Not much more to the story....
On Confession of Murder Apr 21, 2016
Wow, that twist! I was impressed! ;) Overall this was a good chase of bad guy vs. good guy - I wasn't enthralled by it immediately, but about a quarter-half-way in I started getting "excited" for what lied ahead. but the last 30 or so minutes was the BEST and definitely made me up my score that I had in my head ;) Jung Jae Young and Park Shi Hoo were AWESOME!!! I'm glad I watched this :) The one thing I didn't like was all those insane "fans" how can you be a fan of something like that???? And that ending - made me feel like this might have been based on a true story - but it isn't right? lol Anyways, giving this a 9 :)

I knew who the killer was - when I saw the actors face (knew as soon as I saw him following the 2 guys) *this actor generally always plays a bad guy* - but what confused me was when they made him an identical twin - both bad - one sold girls and the other killed the men to take revenge for the girls lost dignity/innocence - but I couldn't figure out which one was which one!!! Was the killer the older or younger twin??? So confusing >_< I would have preferred it if they would have used a split personality instead of "twins" - it would have been more interesting then.

Nice mystery, even if I knew who the culprit was lol - like others said, it felt very much like a Watson/Holmes episode *I'm not a huge fan of the 'watson/holmes' duo mainly b/e they don't thrill me & they are filmed kinda "grimy" idk...* anyways, I did enjoy watching Hwang Jung Min and Ryu Deok Hwan - they were a fun "detective" duo. - I thought one scene in the beginning when HJM was doing his detective work was "unnecessary" they didn't need to show what they did - I skipped over it. :/ There were a few plot holes that I wanted to know about :/ and the killer guy ended up being a little confusing for me *more in spoiler about that*. It's nice for a one time watch - but I won't watch this one again.
