If Joon Ha would have just told his friend right from the start that he liked that girl too and that he met her during the summer - things wouldn't have went so haywire lol
even that, if he didn't try and split with her b/c of what his friend did (that wasn't even b/c of them - it was b/c his father beat him with the belt) then things would have still been fine for them b/c they had his blessings. Then with the whole war thing - WHY would you run back into the face of danger to get back a necklace that was given to you by the girl you like - when she's still ALIVE?! I can understand doing something insane like that if the one you love is gone & that's all you have left of them - but when they are alive and can totally give you another one....? lol just seemed crazy to me - especially since he became blind b/c of that stupid action of his.... Anyways - I still enjoyed their love story immensely ^^ Even if they did unnecessarily make themselves miserable :P & I knew when he was lying about not being able to see - I was like "if he lied about that he probably lied about being married too" <and I was right! lol goodness! Anyways It looks like their kids will get the happy ending they never got - So that makes me happy - I just knew JIS was going to be Joon Ha's son ;) <3

Wow - this was GOOD! I never thought I'd like this movie - the name made me think for a long time that it was going to be about Classical music - like Piano's or something - But it wasn't even close! Haha :P I really really liked it! I thought the parent's love story was sweet - but they made themselves miserable when they didn't even have too lol - anyways I loved BOTH love stories So much! and I'm glad that what I was thinking about the daughter and that JIS's character was true ^_^ Gave it a 10

Loved every little thing about this movie!!! It's so heartwarming <3 The friendship the developed between the leads was so nice to see ^^ It felt as if they were real father & son <3 and Lee Je Hoon - I had hearts in my eyes ^_^ He's so handsome and he NAILED this role!!! :D and my gosh that one scene in the bathroom had me rolling with laughter b/c my mom ended up coming into my room at that very moment! hahaha - made it so much funnier than it probably was :P I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes :P

I loved Gi Tae - too bad his friend Dong Yoon couldn't understand him until the very very end :'( I hated Becky - there was NO reason for his attitude. >_< I completely understood Gi Tae & everything he did.

Have you seen it? Is it worth buying? I can't find any link to download or stream (they are all gone) But I did find it on Amazon - but I only want to buy it if I know it's supposed to be really good....

The ending: It seems like the girl lost her memories... but is that all that happened - did they remove a tumor and it hit something that erased her memories? or does she have cancer and is going to die? - it didn't seem like it was a "sad" ending *besides her memories gone* but I unfortunately don't understand a lot of Korean so I am very confused about the ending....

I just watched this movie RAW b/c I couldn't find any downloadable subs anywhere :'( and that would have been fine b/c I understood the gist of the movie but the ending threw me off - Can somone please explain to me what happened? B/c I am utterly confused....

I just finished it - and even though it was mostly fiction (besides King Sejong making Hangul & such) it was a pretty good story - kept me engaged throughout most of the story - I was going to give it a 9 but the last half hour or so of the last episode made me slightly disappointed so I think I'm going to lower my rating to a 8.5. I didn't really care for the younger actors episodes (first 3) I only liked Song Joong Ki's role there really... and I didn't like all the "fake flying" fight scenes they put in earlier in the drama - I started to enjoy it more around episode 10+ somewhere where it managed to keep my attention and I marathoned it within a couple days :) *Keep in mind this story is mostly FICTION* it even says so on the episodes when you watch them lol - it's not 100% based on actual history. :P I would definitely say you need to watch Six Flying Dragons before you watch this one to have a good understanding of the characters and events portrayed in this drama - even if this drama was made before SFD lol - If I had attempted to watch this drama before SFD I am pretty sure I'd be super lost. Overall a pretty good story with a few flaws.

*Oh and I must say - this is definitely the best role SSK has ever played - I thought her acting was VERY good in this one!*
