My gosh, was an amazing movie about Sado, his father, and Sado's son <3 It was beautiful but really really sad - I was crying so much toward the end :'(

I stayed up 'till 2:17 AM just to finish this - and now I'm left heartbroken in a pool of tears :'( I sat here with hot tears streaming down my face since episode 61 and close to the end of episode 62 I was sobbing my heart out for Bidam :'( I truly loved that guy!!!! My heart hurts :'( I'm crying all over again just writing this :'(
I even had to close my door and put a pillow by it so my mom wouldn't wake up and ask me what's wrong. This drama hurts!!!!!!! BIDAM <3 :'( :'( :'(
I'm giving it a 9 just b/c I did get slightly bored with it around episode 46 ish - and I did end up getting irritated by a few characters - like Deokman (in the middle - but I liked her again towards the end but she also hurt me the most with Bidam in the end) :'( and honestly Yushin bothered me a little towards the end too *mainly b/c I was fully on Bidam's side at this point so anyone that could hurt him was a threat to me*
The things Bidam feared, the things that hurt him, his devotion, his downfall, and everything in between - REALLY HURT!!!!! :'( *sobs again* :'( But man was he sexy in the end - back to that long beautiful black hair and clothing <3 :'(
just leave it unrated then, I couldn't bear to rate it b/c I too loved the first 12 episodes and ended up hating the last 4 - so I just left it unrated... :/

I can't say it's worth all 16 hours of invested time - the first 12 episodes were SO good but after that.... it really messed up and left me and several others very disappointed - even to think about rating it a 10 to ending up rating it a 4 or not even giving it a rating at all (like myself). Episode 13 is totally useless, 14 could be speed watched. Episode 15 was pretty good, but episode 16 is just plain depressing :/

ep.14 - Ok, while I still did skip in this episode it wasn't as much as the last one, b/c there were a few cute Eun Taek & Bora Scenes ^_^ & I loved the ending with Seol & Jung <3
ep. 15 - Baek In Ha belongs in a Mental Hospital >_< Why does Jung have to put up with her - she deserves everything that is coming to her! >_< Such an evil wench! >_< Ugh, and that preview - they better not break up Jung & Seol in the last episode! or what would have been the point of this drama? I came here and stuck around for Jung only - and I want to see him happy in the end - not ALONE :'(
Oh, and I haven't seen any of those deleted scenes yet >_< I truly hate this PD and she will be blacklisted for me forever! I honestly hope she NEVER gets to work on a drama EVER again!

I don't think I've ever felt so stressed out about a drama as I do with this one :/ since episode 13 aired last week and all the news coming out about it and everything - it's been so stressful - I'm going to go ahead and watch episode 16 anyway - even if I now know the ending >_< ba hum bug >_< I think I'll watch it without subs :/ Grrrr..... how can they ruin a good drama like this? Gosh, I feel so bad for Park Hae Jin having to have ended up with such a bad PD and for Kim Go Eun as this is her first drama... :/
I sincerely hope this PD looses her job & never gets the chance to work in this industry again. For someone that doesn't care enough about the drama, characters, actors and viewers has no right to be in this industry.
As someone else said on this page: "the first 30-35 episodes were addictive, after that it went up and down." I remained interested in the story line - up until King Injo dies - after that though there were way too many repeats and unnecessary scenes :/ But, I don't regret watching - I loved watching Cha Seung Won play/portray Gwanghae! <3 My favorite character by far in this drama!!! and he was GREATLY missed after episode 30 :'( When Kim Jae Won appeared and played Injo - I was pleased by his performance (his first time playing an actual bad guy lol) I pitied his character in this drama a lot - he was such a misguided/mislead king :( I also enjoyed Prince Sohyun's entrance into this drama ^^ I think he was on from ep.39-44 :) Injo lasted until episode 47? I think. After that I started to lose interest in the drama - and kind of pushed myself through the remaining few episodes lol... One thing: Seo Kang Joon & Lee Yeon Hee needed to improve their acting - I thought they did pretty much okay during the first 30-35 episodes - but after that they always had the same expressions, same reactions, and were rather poor actors (what happened?) *sigh* - But if you are interested in Korean History (even if you've read up on it on Wikipedia - like I did lol) and you'd like to see it "come alive" before your eyes (even if parts are fictionalized - like the Princess being involved in politics at all) then you should enjoy this drama overall - despite the poor acting of SKJ & LYH in the latter half...
Great article! I've seen every drama he's been in as well (planning to start Six Flying Dragons as soon as it gets a bit closer to finishing) I fell for him and started following him after his role in Misaeng as well <3 He was definitely the LIFE of that show! He'd lift your spirits when they were down :D A great actor indeed! I am also going to watch his new movie Socialphobia real soon! Can't wait to see his role in SFD - Super excited for that one <3
Now that I found out this is about the Son of Crown Prince Sado - I need to watch this drama as soon as I finish Hwajeong! (I keep thinking back to Crown Prince Sado as he was portrayed in 'Secret Door' and after reading about him I started wanting to see a drama about his son - and to my surprise there is one! :D )
