Nice introduction but not what I expected
I finally finished this drama after one year of struggling (not finding the good timing)!!First of all, I've found this randomly and decided to watch it because I was interesting in the autobiography of the very famous taiwanese singer, Teresa Teng! She was iconic, very elegant in her time!
When I studied mandarin chinese at university, Iused to listen to her (old) song from time to time, even though it was not what I listen, it's still good and nice to learn the language hehe
In general, the story was quite nice but I do think there's some moments or period of time that could be shorter. It's a pity, some moments could in contrary, be more detailed.
I'm sorry, honesly some time it didn't catch my attention enough that I wanted to give it up but I have to rethink and to have another mindset.. So finally, I watched it till the end.
Her story is not her full story because I suppose, there's more than this drama. I know we can't show everything but I was expecting maybe more concerts, performances, what she felt before and after these. Also with her fans..Around the world.. It lacks this...Maybe they did but to me it was not enough lol
What I watched it's mostly with her family, friends and love relationships. It's indeed important and to know in what environment she grew up in.
I admit, I shed some tears for some moments and I really like her singing, it's soothing.
I have to congratulate myself because I have gone through these 48 episodes without english or french subtitles. I'm not bilingual but since I studied mandarin chinese for 5 years, I did understand some parts lol
Anyway, it was a nice effort and to make a drama with an iconic singer.
Hope it still help more people to know about her and listen to her.

A realistic movie of an indigenous family
So it's going to be quite difficult to share my impressions, I feel like it might be not a really good review because it's a special one and I don't particularly find the right words to describe it, but I'll try my best.Ok, first of all, I've read somewhere the director or production team didn't hire professional actors (or maybe a part of them), they are people like you and me so it's not about who acted the best or not. I would say, it feels more a bit of a documentary and we've followed their daily life.
Now; "Gaga" is a movie that can relate to us and at the same time, it can't. It's because, there's indeed some family conflicts that I'm sure everyone can relate to it and on the other hand, we don't really know about their culture (that's why I said, we can't relate to them). For example: triggered warnings and if they censored it, it's also a part of their culture, it was still a bit hard to hear pigs crying (because they are kxlled for their ritual, it's a tradition).
I just wish, they could show us more and explain more about their tradition because I didn't know the Atayal tribe. I know that in Taiwan, there's a lot of diversity in terms of tribes and indigenous families.
Also one of the high lights for me are the landcapes, some shots are really chill and beautiful.
It was a nice discovery but it lacks something to be more invested and to be more interested in it.

A healing journey
I think I was not in the right mood when I've started the first episode because I felt, I was not really into the story until the next episode and somehow, I've found it pleasing to watch and to follow their healing journey (mainly Jae Won). It's more than a love story, it got unexpected real, relatable and touching. It seems somehow confusing like an art.
I really liked the cinematography, especially the intro that I think it was interesting and nicely done, simple yet in a stylistic way.
I don't know how to put in right words but I somehow understand the hype and that it was kind of different than I used to watch. I could give a higher rating but somehow, in my mind I feel like the way they execute the whole plot, it might not in my taste or what I've expected..? I'm confused lol
Anyway, I have posotive vibes towards this serie in general.

Funny and touching
I've finally watched this movie and I really liked it.It was a really nice movie about the relationship between two siblings, it's ordinary but at the same time it could be so relatable and touching.
Personally, I also have an older brother but I can't really relate as he's not like Chut in this and we're getting along well so yes I'm lucky lol
I can't explain how I felt towards Chut's character, it's a bit complex, he's really funny but at the same time really annoying and I don't quite understand his behavior although I've watched the whole movie lol
Poor Jane but there's one scene I disliked her for something she did because it's like she neglected her brothers's feelings. I know, I understand her, I know how annoying and horrible he might be but Ilked these characters, they are relatable.
But seriously, I felt genuine feelings from both of them and I was kind of moved by their story. I thought it would be too long with 2hours but no, the pacing was right although I do still think some scenes were a bit dragging. At the same time, I feel it was a bit rushed, maybe it's the choice of the editing or the transition of some scenes. I was sometimes taken aback from it.
One of my few complains is that I was not fully invested in the romance between Jane and Mochi. I don't mind that it's not the focus on their relationship because it's mainly about the sibilings however it lacks some scenes or some sparks?? Because I'm sure, it could have been better if there was something more believable? I'm not quite sure how to explain this. But it's later on that I've found them cute and that I had believed they are really together lol
So I think I would rewatch this movie but not entirely, just a few funny scenes and some that are heartwarming.

A heartwarming short story
Look.. Why am I watching this now? Wish I could watch it way before but anyway I personally loved it, it's a small gem.Am I crazy to rate it as 10/10? Yes, despite some small flaws but I do think it deserve a high rating.
They could made it as a movie or maybe a short drama with a few more episodes to develop further the story but I don't know why, I'm still satisfied with these 2 episodes.
Finally I was able to watch the main actor with a different side and not as an a**h*le character lol
I really like the dynamic between the main leads, two different people but that was quite sweet and beautiful how they found each other. However, I might complain with Wirin's behavior but looking back, her little bit of flawed character is also relatable so at the end, I won't mind rather accept it.
The story is simple but still interesting, heartfelt with a life lesson and about self-worth. It was really nice to watch, especially with the settings, the landscapes were nice as if we came with them and that it was also a healing small trip.
I would gladly recommend this to anyone.

Inspiring story
I've never heard of this movie till someone shared it on the feeds and I've decided to give it a try because why not!I must say, I quite enjoyed it, I always have a soft spot with this kind of coming of age story and this movie delivered well on its own. It was so simple yet I can somehow relate to it and can't help but to root for her till the end. She was not, in my surprise, a dislikeable character at all like I thought.
I quite appreciate the development of the story throughout the whole movie, it was really well done and I was glad to understand a bit more of her character and her surrounding.
I would say I liked all the characters except her teacher in high school but what scared me it's that some people are like him in real life and didn't think of the psychological aspect of the student and also, they only have one way to think about it.
I also didn't like her father although I understand his behavior, it's even scarely relatable but it didn't excuse for it, it's still wrong.
So overall, it has this heartfelt, encouraging / inspiring and kind of life lesson story that I found it somehow appealing.
However, if we think rationally, this movie is too positive for that BUT I won't bring this up and stay to my thought that it was a great movie after all.

Not fluffly but interesting
Ok so I have mixed feelings about this serie,I didn't hate it but I rather wasn't fond of it because of the character of Cho Tae Hyun. He's indeed a complex character but sometimes I also don't really understand the other one, Lee Da Yeol.I have to admit, overall, the story was well done, I can't forget the behavior of Cho Taehyun at the begining (I hate bullying, in real life and even in fiction) so even if they tried to show us another side of him, it's a bit hard to forgive him on that part.
At the same time, I found it interesting to tackle this issue and to show this character and even their relationship throughout the episodes. It's litterally a serious / psychological (?) drama with a hint of a romantic relationship between Lee Dayeol and Cho Taehyun. Well, I didn't mind the lack of skinship and intimate scene but I also understand why people seem not to like and to feel being toyed / teased.
One thing that I appreciated was kind of the small journey of Lee Dayeol being an archery athelete (as I was interested way before to this kind of sport, I enjoyed these small moments).
The other issue that I have is what's going on with the last 2 episodes, But at the same time, I kind of understand the need of doing this? I'm not that sure, it still left me with mixed feelings. lol
But after all, both of them did a great job at portraying their characters, it was my first time seeing them and I've learnt they are both part of the same group (they are kind of underrated and sadly I only listen to one or two of their songs? But I'm glad, it makes me want to check more of their tracks and activities as artist).
For the OST, I wasn't hyped at the begining although it was nice to listen but after more episodes, it was easy to listen, I started to like it more. I have also learnt that it was one of them or both? who composed and write the lyrics of those songs? Surprisingly talented.

Entertaining and not that scary
When it comes to horror genre, I love to watch the taiwanese ones and this movie got my attention.Althought it was not that scary as I thought (and I was watching it during nightime), it was still engaging/interesting, entertaining and somehow heartwarming. Oh and of course, some sad /small emotional moments.
I really like everything, from the begining to the end, I was not bored although some things got on my nerves a little bit (or rather some behaviors from certains characters) and that, some parts were a bit predictable...In addition, I just felt that the second part was a bit weaker than I expected but still, I enjoyed it.
I do think, sometimes I just feel it's a funny horror movie but at the same time, it was getting serious, a weird feeling but I liked it.
So this movie was an easy-watch that keep you entertaining but you might feel bored if you have high expectations and that you want more on the horror part (such as jumpscares but I have to admit, I had a few jumpscares but I laughed it off because that was silly of me).

Less expectations..Less satisfaction
At first I was hyped for this serie because of the new faces but then I realised I saw Great in Manner of death in a support role.Anyway, it was a nice combination to put GreatInn together, they protrayed well their characters and they do have chemistry.
The problem is in the development of the plot, while I enjoyed some parts, other parts felt a bit draggy and rushed and maybe I'm the problem because since it's a mature serie, I wanted more and always forgot that since it's a GMMTV serie, that's their formula. However, I'm thankful and I appreciate they tried to produce some new stuffs but it still lacks something.
Even for the support roles, they didn't invest that much but I know they mainly want to focus on Wandee and Yoyak but still, it's like they show us some interesting parts at the begining and we want it more after that but no, they are like, it's not on our list lol
In general, I would say it's more lighter (although it does have some drama and a bit of spicyness) and funny, it's still a nice serie to watch but sadly, it didn't make me want to watch it again.

Beautiful and inspiring
Before wanting to start this movie, I didn't really expected something and didn't read the synopsis but the title itself intrigued me a lot.Despite having somehow a slow pacing, I don't know how to describe it (but thinking again it was the right pace for this kind of movie lol), it still conveys a nice message and also showing some beautiful art.
As Sosuke said, I also want to know more about Sumi-e, I already know Chinese calligraphy which I sometimes practice in my own but didn't know anything about this Japanese art, Sumi-e.
It was kind of healing and heartwarming to see characters that are invested in this art and that can bring them new feels, a new version of them (I don't know if it makes sense..)
Anyway, a nice movie but maybe for not everyone, as I said it was somehow slow or maybe it lacks something so that's why I was a bit struggling to give a rating (but there's some moments later in the movie that change my mind).

A heartwarming and realistic movie
A few years ago, I stumbled upon the first volume of the manga at a mall, it was so random but the cover got me intrigued and I checked it like this, alone, in public. That was interesting and lovely that I wanted to keep reading it (although I'm the type of person who consumed manga). So when I've heard there's a movie / a live action adaptation, I was so happy and wanted to watch it! I don't know why I waited for so long but I'm happy that this year, there's a Japanese film festival online and thanks to this I was able to finally watch it.
I love the grandma, she was so adorable, so sweet, she makes me smile and Urara the high school girl she's so relatable.. I understand her that the way she behaves, it does make sense. I would like to befriend her.
How can anyone imagine that 2 different generations would build such a precious friendship thanks to a BL manga?! That was so sweet and heartfelt to watch.
I also like the friendship with her childhood friend also I wished for more but they decided to keep it simple.
This show makes it so natural and realistic, no shame and no "taboo", simply 2 persons who share the same passion, they have the right to like something that make them happy. It's just beautiful. There's a moment, It was emotional that I almost shed a tear. So yes, definitely a must-watch.

Not really bad but not really good
First of all, I really love watching horror movies despite being a scardy cat but this, it makes me laugh for a few times and was getting frustrated because of some illogical behaviors from the characters...Ok, I admit, I appreciate the siblings dynamic, some interesting and dark elements however I'm skeptical for the writing of the characters, especially Yak the big brother (although I'm glad to see the actor Nadech in a horror movie because he's one of the first Thai actors that I have watched in romantic comedy drama, so it's a bit of fresh air lol).
The acting is also good but as I have mentioned, the writing of the characters were not that convincing.
It lacks something that could make it better. Maybe because an introduction since I just happen to see there's a second part lol
I'll see then!

Nice costumes, impressive performances
For me, it's a bit hard to rate a TV show but anyway I gave it a 8.5/10 which is normally good. It's just sometimes, maybe it's their culture or their know-how but they really like to ask some very personal matter to the contestant that makes me feel uneasy / uncomfortable. I know they are quite opened about it but still it's a show you know lol
And there's also some "fights" (verbally but sometimes I know it's fake but for example DJ Nui was getting hit by the other judge (Sena Hoi) because he said something useless or something like that).
But overall, what I like the most it's of course the performances, some are really memorable and also the costumes. However, for the group Jungle War, I expected a bit of variety. There was only the wild rabbit and the three others, all were crows (although they changed it with Water crow, Rainbown crow and if I'm not mistaken, Little crow.. Still it was just different kind of crow LOL
But it was really nice to see 3 different themes (Jungle War, Sky War and Marine War).
So, at the end, that was quite entertaining. It might be pity that isn't subbed for international viewers but if it's about performances I don't think there's the need to translate because music is universal and that I'm sure, everyone could feel the emotions.

One of a kind
3-4 years later I finally watched this and I quite enjoy it.Although we have to be prepared mentally because it's dark and horrible but the chemistry between the main leads compensate it somehow lol.
The story is sometimes predictable (and not really surprising), a bit confusing but still make you want to watch the next one till the end. It's indeed different from what I've seen in Thai BL (I don't include The Sign, I mean, I was saying from the date released). The acting was quite nice, I love the different settings (in North of Thailand I think?) and interesting story overall and I felt so bad for doctor Bun and her childhood friend but also for other girls..
The side character but important, Rungtiva played by the actress which I first watched her in Ngao ruk luang jai, she was so great in this.
Doctor Bun and Tan look so good together but is it just me or something off (I don't know if it's because it's a bit short and with the case, I didn't think they have times for their relationship?? or maybe I was too focused on the investigation that I even forgot it's BL LOL). However, it was satisfying especially at the end. So it worth the watch.

Nights full of goosebumps
First of all, I might not know what was Angkhan Khlumpong and haven't listen to it if it's available on youtube but the one I listen from time to time is The Ghost radio on youtube.Well, normally I would freak out more since it's based on true story but I guess, I had some courageous feels to keep me watching this serie. I don't know if I can say this but I truly enjoyed it, for each story I was so scared and had goosebumps. It was really good, interesting plot, great acting, a really nice atmosphere but I had to agree that some scenes were so dark that I barely saw what's going on lol but overall, it was still creepy and scary, especially because of the makeup and the timing of when a scene is coming!!
I don't know which one is my favorite and or which is more scary... Maybe the fourth (nang ram with the couple which the wife is pregnant) and the fifth with the kid and the ghost (the imaginary friend).
But it was also sad because after all it's dealing with death, it's a bit deep than we thought, it's not only to scary us but to be open-minded about it.
What I also liked was the plotwist, I was easily taken aback by each story.
