Wonderful movie ! I cried two time...

only 12 minutes in the last episode and I was really pissed by how Moo Hak's dad was angry toward Dali when he is the one (with the shity step-brother and step-mother) dragging down his son ! Thanks god there was the moment where Moo Hak and Dali were secretly kissing behind Woo Tak, it was so funny ! Love all the scene with those 3

I just don't understand why they were a baby switch ? They both had the psychopath gene so what the point ? Just to make the story more complicated ?? The two mothers are like "ok we will switch our babies to make it more drama !"

edit : I finished it. The end felt rushed...How Moo chi suddently understood everything about Ba Reum seemed rushed...I know that Ba Reum would not have an happy ending but at least he killed his father ! But I shared some tear when he dreamt about himself at the church and when he was hugging his old self...I am glad the people manipulating him to kill were punished at the end too.

It was obvious that Jung Ba Reum was a psychopathe, he was too sweet to be real lol But I am still believing his innocence face ! Lee Seung Gi does a great acting. However I am a bit dissapointed they make de head hunter's son also a killer, I would have loved if he was actually really sweet and innocent instead of being a cold serial killer like his father...It would show that people can be different of their parents...

+ the old same story about the serial killer traumatised by prostitutes and being the reason why he was killing women. I already saw that in other Kdramas ( are they all inspired by the same serial killer ?)I was waiting for someone else to be the culprit and not the same cliché of the fake disabled person (and in my opinion it was revealed too soon so the second half seemed like another drama).

However the creepy vibes was perfect and I love how everyones seemed suspicious. Yoo Yeon was just so unlucky this night (at the same time I am wondering why she was looking inside the van ? At this time of the night all alone she saw a van and decide to look inside ?? Why ??? It was really out of character, she was supposed to be a smart young woman)...Then the killer put nail polish on her fingernails, cut her fingers, she ran away, then got hit by a car and died for finally being ran over again by her boyfriend's car ? Fortunately the mother is already crazy because even if she was not she would turn crazy after hearing how her daughter died.

It was hard to finish. I feel like they make the drama really complicated when in fact it was simple and the story was going in circle in the first half : Joo Won suspicious of Dong Shik, confronting him and Dong Shik just standing there smiling or laughing like a crazy person (ok the actor is good but it was just boring when he was repeating it for the third time and more...)I would have prefered if his behaviors was explained by something medical like I read in some comments when I watched this (for example the theory like what he was smilling/laughing when he was too much in stress )

I could feel the good chemistry between Dong Shik and Joo Won but oddly I was not so much invested in them. I feel like something was missing.

It was really sad when Dong Shik learned that Min Jung was still alive when he was looking for her...But even if he had found her and saved her : how do you live your life without your fingers ? +living with the big trauma of your father being a serial killer (even if he is not his biological father he still raised her).

A shame they made the father so wrong : the cliché of the dumb and violent father who is manipulated by a gold digger. I had a little hope when he understood that Moo Hak was in love with Da Li instead of Chak Hee and said that the most important thing in a relationship is love (so that meant he did not care if the woman Moo Hak chose was poor instead of some rich politician's daughter). However it was the only time the character said something good and seemed likeable to me...

A lot of funny moments and I love the sound effect when Won Tak stare at Moo Hak (the sound of an eagle ? ). It was obvious the cousin was involved in the drug case and sure that Tae Jin was the mastermind but somehow I was waiting for another culprit because again it was too much obvious...

Special mention for Moo Hak who always find the right words instead of shouting or being vulgar. Episode 13 was so-so but episode 14 was so cute and funny !

I love the little twist at the end when we learn Yoo Han can't distinguish faces, that explain a lot of Yoo Han behaviors...And that means he was also obsessed with Yeon Woo because he was the only one with a face he can remember. I was a bit disturbed by Yeon Woo attempt of suicide and his aunt acting like she saw it coming and acting a bit too calm in my opinion...Still wonder what happened to his mom, I knew it would be too short to know the truth but I was waiting for more clues.

Just one episode of twenty minutes a week !? I need more !

Tae Kyung make me think so much of Mob from Mob psycho : how he does not know how to talk with others and how he seems feelingless when he is in fact the more human. Drama tends to exaggerate such behaviors but I assure you some people can be really awkward with their social skill (I am) We don't mean to be cold or anything and it is so hard to have friends because most of the time I am not spontaneous. I take a long time to answer sometime because I overthink to the most correct answer. I cant improvise at all. Tae Kyung seems like a robot but it is the whole point...I laughed a lot with the dildo accident !

I think in the second season they will discovered others villages of ghosts. Proof with the last scene where they met some children ghosts...

I am the only one glad they use some sound effect/music used by The Guest ? For example when the shaman said something that should not be here is in the Queen. That remind me a lot of memories about the Guest, I loved it so much ._. And yes Bong Hwan is like an evil spirit not as evil as Park ll Do though haha

I also feel like they are killing Bong Hwang and even if we are not seeing it physically for example him being cut by a blade or whatevers it is the same to me... The only way for me to accept it a bit would be a twist about how the queen is the past life of Bong Hwang but I am still not liking this solution of mixing the two personalities... But at the same time I am still finding this drama interesting and wonder how this will end !

I think I would be equally glad to see a cliché ending (where the queen and/or the king died --> Bong Hwang returned to his live in the future and meet the reincarnation of the King as a woman. ) or something totally out of the box. They have really a lot of interesting possibilities. I just hope they won't use the " drunk night" to got Mr.Queen pregnant, not fond of that kind of trick ._.

It is true he said "how can I be in love with my cousin ? " but I thought it was a way of speaking between noble...Kind of weird if he did not recognized his cousin when she disguised herself as a guy... Or perhaps there are really distant cousin, just in the same "clan" family but without knowing each other ? But now that reminds me when there was the wedding in episode 1 Kim Hwan was with So Yong's father...

A bit out of the topic but it is always hard for me to watch historical dramas (or historical stories overall) because I have a hard time to understand how people are linked. It is always kind of strange to me to see people who are supposed to be a loving family for example acting like they are meeting for the first time and acting coldly(or too respectfully) like strangers. I know it is the way they were speaking at the time but I have a difficult time to get used to it. Kind of rassuring for me to see Mister Queen twerking lmao Some warm in this coldness. Nowadays we are perhaps superficial but back then it was too serious in my taste.
