Title Missing: The Other Side Spoiler
well from what i see they only did that at the beginning to start the main story, it seems like this will be one…
I like this drama but I feel like there a dragging a lot when it is not necessary at all (+ only 12 episodes so I understand even less why they are dragging ). The main characters keep a lot of important informations and just don't share it with the others...But I really like the ride because of the emotional moments

Title Missing: The Other Side Spoiler
I understand what you mean, they keep showing us that couple so the only satisfying ending for them would be if…
" Only dead people who haven't been physically found end up in the village, unless you are like the protagonist and can see the dead. "

When Wook's friend died I totally forgot this and I thought his friend was going to appear in front of him as a ghost. Then I remembered that condition and it makes me so sad Wook would not even sees him again at least as a ghost...

I think it is not so impossible for Yeo Na to count as missing even if she is in comatose state at an hospital somewhere. Technically she was perhaps physically found but not from her loves ones so perhaps she is a special case too and count as "missing " because people who found her dont know her identity and until her identity is discover she will stays like that. I dunno :/ I want to believe she is indeed alive somewhere that would be heartwarming...

This or either get a good shock on the head and pray to see ghost lol

I also think somehow Yeo Na is alive because they did not show us the body clearly and it is always weird in a kdrama... + how Wook said to Pan Seok "Do you believe in miracle ? " seem like an hint she is alive and I hope this is true because she would be the prood Wook and Pan Seok can indeed see ghost if she remembers her ghost's memories...

He loved her just didn't realized it because if didn't he wouldn't have protected her:)
I don't know why but your words totally sell the drama for me ( I think I will start it soon I am still hesitant because I am afraid of a sad ending and I am not in the mood of a sad ending where one of the main lead could die...)

It's a great drama. I don't know how's the original movie but this one isn't as bad as the comments say. Especially…
I watched the movie and for now only one episode of this jdrama and of course it was different but in my opinion they showed a lot of important moments ( the sausage moment, the coupon, when they help each others during the race) + the fact there are involved in cases by chance and are helping people. So yeah it seem not bad I even think there were a lot of funny moments well done. The only thing that is bothering me ( and always in jdrama) is the " serious moments" : for example the brainwashed's woman was not credible at all to me. It is a shame because always in jdrama I have the feeling they try too hard to make the character " two dimensional" like they are in a manga...Okay in a manga it works that kinds of situation but in a drama sorry no :/ It makes the serious moments really awkwards.

The other different point is the fact it is" less dark" because in the movie it was about human trafic but this point does not bother me because that kind of subject is really too much heavy for me

edit : I talked a bit too fast, seem like the human trafic topic is in episode 2 ^^"Also in episode 2 there were moments from the movies and it was also pretty well done I find it really funny

Honestly, it's way smarter for him not to. There's no way to tell if the detective would believe him and to be…
O I forgot to tell you about what is a Makjang (you don't have to read everything xD) :

"Then what makes a drama makjang? When it comes to dramas, when plot devices involving extreme, absurd, or outrageous instances of life (cases that make you go, hmm, what’s the likelihood of that happening in an average person’s lifetime) are dealt with in an illogical or twisted manner to arouse or hook the viewers, or conveniently inserted for that exact purpose, they are described as makjang. (Think American daytime soaps.)

The makjang elements of a drama - rape, revenge, possible incest -can be so outrageously over-dramatic, they are impossible to believe and yet, when watching a k-drama, the reality of such story elements does not seem so important.

Part of the success of k-dramas is that despite not quite believing the terrible things that happen to the characters, you understand how they might feel if they did experience them. And once that connection is made, you're hooked."

For example the way the bad guys kill the potential heirs seem like a Makjang thing except if they have a good reason to do so but I do not think it is the case :/ Like you said there are a lot of others way to get the DNA and what is the purpose chen the person is already dead ? Perhaps they want a proof the heir/heiress is indeed dead so they get a DNA test each time but I still find it dangerous for them to do that...Why they can't just check the DNA before without the person to notice and then when they have a confirmation it is the good person; kill him/her ? That is so a Makjang's thing.

" I've thought about that too and I think it's highly possible. The only reason I don't really focus much on that theory is that it would be WAY too convenient if all of the pieces lined perfectly like that. I have a bit of hope the writer might surprise up."

That would be nice because for now I was not really surprised with this drama :/ Yes Jang Pan Seok's and Jong Ah are so cute together !

The moment that make me really think Wook is the grandchild is when he remembered the daughter of the grandmother as an " aunt " who came time to time to see his mother and him. My theory is : Wook was the secret child but for whatevers reason his birth mother was obliged to lie about the fact her baby died and he was adopted by someone she trusted : Kim Hyun Mi who was working for her. Then time to time she came to see him but was killed with his adoptive mother... Kim Hyun Mi always takes care of people she is not related too : childs, olders souls and sick ones so I think that is very likely Wook was also not related to her in fact.

My other bet would be on Yeo Na but there was a moment where the one ordering the murders check a DNA's list and she was not the one if I understood corretly.

I do not know for Jong Ah, I did not considered her as a potential heiress but she could be ! It will seem idiot but one of the scene that made me think she is Jang Pan Seok's daughter is when she eat at his home and there was a short moment where we saw the mommy dog watching her puppies eating and just after that the moment where we see Pan Seok watching Wook and Jong Ah eating and I think it was done on purpose. But perhaps she is just like a daughter to him and not hir real daughter ^^ That is so cute even so ~

I think we should just watch it as a Makjang ^^ (And I do not means it negatively because I like Makjangs) : the characters are keepings things to them for the dramatics moments when it is revealed even Pan Seok does not talk about his missing daughter to his surrounding for whatevers reasons but talk about it to strangers ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ And often in Makjang characters are connected without knowing it so I bet wook is the missing grandchild and the pawn show's girl is the missing daughter ?

I don't know if it is just me but the CGI in this makes me feel like the FL is more mentally ill and needs treatment…
same, I feel like they tried to much to add special effects and the fact she is fighting with a plastic toy does not help it :/ Why they can not just make a mysterious and badass heroine ? Already in the trailer she seems like a crazy girl beating the air without even trying to hide her power from the others... You can do a lot without that much of 3d/special effect and give a mysterious/interesting vibes but nooo it is in the grotesque directly :/

I wont lie, I like when things are exaggerated (that is why I mostly watch dramas) but not when it goes all over the place and boom and KABOOM I understand now why a lot of my surrounding find dramas silly when I am trying to explain to them there are not all like that...

wait that description wasn't there before.. she gets ~rejected?! TWICE?! what- why?? Idk if that's even worse…
Not a drama for me ^^' because yeah if I understood correctly she will confess twice to the same guy and be rejected but I guess the guy is in fact in love with her but for whatevers reasons he rejected her or he will fall in love with her when it is too late and will regret his past choices ? no-no for me that will just be frustrating to watch even if he has the best reason in the world to be indecisive about her... + I think I will have a second lead syndrome because of course the second lead will be hyper gentle with her and she will b*tch him like he is nothing... T_T

edit : At least that would be interesting if they do not make the second guy a cute puppy but in fact a mischievous guy

He was about to report it but then he was kidnapped and focus his attention on the missing kid so I think he forgot :/ But latter when at several times he talked to the detective he has a lot of opportunities to reveal it he saw a woman being kidnapped (even if he does not tell directly it was his girlfriend). And yeah I totally agree the cop would think he his crasy if Wook reveals the fact he saw Joon Ho's girlfriend as a ghost... I wonder if the girlfriend will not be the key for the detective to believe wook because she is perhaps not really dead and if she get back her life she could explain how she talked to Wook in the ghost village (but there are only 12 épisodes so I do not think that will happen)

Why didn't Kim Wook say anything to Joon Ho about Yeo Na?? If he did, he will focus his investigation on the Kidnappers…
Yes I don't like the fact they make the characters hiding some informations between each other :/ I can understand that Wook does not want to tell the det his girlfriend appeared as a ghost but I find it dumb how he keeps for so long she was kidnapped... ?

I love this drama so far! I was expecting it to be darker like OCN’s usual style, but it’s not that dark.…
Yeah it is not creepy, in fact the ghosts give heartwarming moments !

Same here. I think he is a decent actor but the projects he chooses are so bad. Hope he redeems himself with this.
I think I can not see him like another character than Kwang Ho since Tunnel...

I love this actor but same as OneAjhussi; I think the projects he chooses are so bad. He always play an exagerated 2 dimensional character who seems too much fictional to me...In Tunnel he was a bit like that too bu it works because there were also good emotional/serious moments which made his character deeper.

" The Zombie Detective " seems like another over exaggerated cheesy character... And Okay Choi Jin Hyuk is really good to give melodrama/makjang vibes (and I personally love that) but it kind of fell off if it is not well balanced with a more constructed character.

In my opinion, The zombie detective will be here for a good laugh but I won't expect good characters ( hope the drama will prove me wrong though)

I like this a lot so far and I have a good feeling about this in general. For some reason I can't explain (because…
I think it is the part where the main character see things other characters do not see that remind you Life On Mars, the moment when he sees the dog and police don't was hilarious ! It reminds me Life on Mars and Tunnel ^^ ! (Life on mars because of the reason I told you and Tunnel because the main lead is hyper righteous and somehow mature but childish at the same time I love that kind of character ).

I feel like it is good because the story is moving and I love how we jump from a sad moment to a comedy moment. + I like when characters are connected without knowing it. I love where this is going, I look forward for the next episodes !
