I hope Do Chang and Ji Hyuk would catch him before but I guess it is too soon, 6 episodes left.

Yes I know it kinds of break her character to me too :/ But now, after thinking about it, I find it human. But yeah I was also dissapointed. I secretly hope it is especially Do Chang who will be an healer for Ji Hyuk, like a father figure or something. However I do not hate the chemistry between Ji Hyuk and the reporter but I prefer the Bromance/Fathermance -I am an indecisive person lmao-

But I will not lie it is especially because I want Do chang and Seo Kyung to learn about Oh Ji Hyuk past and make him a hug. He totally deserve it... If they know they will surely help him and discuss about him in order for Ji Hiuk to release a bit of his burden.

What I believe :

- I think the policeman who was questionning Oh Ji Hyuk in the past was Do Chang's mentor who saved him from a gangster's life.

-Inspector NAm killed his teammate to cover up.

- One of the murderer of Oh Ji Hyuk's father is Jo Sung Dae. Why ? Because after being accused of such a crime only him but just live like nothing happened and he kills people for money. + His smile seems like the same in the flashback when OJH can not tall he is the culprit because he is too much traumatized.

- The discussion between Jo Sung Dae and Oh Jong Tae + the fact Ji Hyuk said to Oh Jong Tae he is nothing without money make me think OJT is not a killer but jut a psycho. He can hire someone to kill but not kill himself. In my opinion, he did not killed the painter but saw the one who killed her. The blashback was not completed so my guess is : he tried to kiss her, she rejected him again, he left angrily but decide later on to return to her and find her dead ?

Now I am wondering who is the second killer of OJH's father and if he is also the mastermind behind all of the current's cases. Jo Sung Dae work is like a mercenary and work for a lot of people so it is hard to guess who is the mastermind...

Was OJH's father a cop ? Perhaps that is why Jo Sung Dae said it is risky to killed a cop because he was on the verge to get caught at the time. I think OJH's uncle is not behind his father death because he was more trusting OHJ over his own son...

I am wondering the same thing, I find him really cute but I read like what most of the actors/actress had plastic surgery :/ So now eahc time I am seing a main character I like on screen I am wondering if it is the case. Whatevers I like his appearance, how he acts and his character's personnality I think this it the most important.

I noticed for his ears some episodes ago but it does not bother me much, I even find him rather more cute than before <3 ._. ?

Anyway, I totally understand your opinion because it happened to me to just not get attached to a physical trait of an actor(ess).

For example I am not fond of Lee Min-ho physical appearance (perhaps his eyes ? ) and I do not find him ugly or anything it is just I find him less charming than some others actors.

Or for example I love the actress Hwang Jung Eum but in her drama " Mystic Pop Up Bar " I found her mouth really strange and I could not pinpoint the problem but something was off and sometimes it brings me out of immersion when I was watching the drama.

It depends if it is really a big problem for you or not. I try to watch the full drama even if something like that is bothering me because the actors put effort in it but sometimes you just can not force yourself.

Lee Dae Chul's death took me really by surprise and I skipped the moment where he died because it was so sudden and I was not believing it. I thought Ji Hyuk had prepared something to make corrupted people believe Lee Dae Chul was dead... After all he is like a conman, I use Do Chang's words, he always make people he wants to manipulate believe he is losing but then get the upper hand so my expectations were high at this moment.

However after the two episodes of this week I do not think it is the case and I was sad but not dissapointed oddly. I think it is really because I like a lot of things in this drama so it wins on the bad things but yeah it feels really unfair. But people are like that they kind of regret it when it is too late. It kinds of remind me some dramas where the vilains are suddently " good " when the good guys have something on them or when they lost lmao -it happens here too with the chief of the police- Or when people talk trash to a person but when this person has a terminal ill they are suddently sweet... It is a bit easy to change his mind in the last second...

(But still loving this dramas thanks to the well done characters )

Yes that is why I love his character he is so cool, he even smirk at Captain Nam like " You sly fox " or " Try everything you want it won't work" and at the end again like " they think they will stop me with just this bitch " it is the kind of character who speak more with his acts and eyes than his voice; I love that

I think it was bit out of the blue for her especialy if she knows how cruel are people. I was expecting she told him before and we that we would see it in a flash-back later but seems like it is not the case... I am not trusting her anymore, I was dissapointed. I know it is for the story to be much deeper but it was not right her character + especially because she knew already her boss was fishy. It is the kind of old trick I hate in Kdrama where good character have something on a bad guy and just do not use it at the right because of a silly reason... I love the rest of the drama but this mistake made me angry against her character and I think now it will be hard for me to see her like one of the good guys...I was expecting more from her especially to prove to Oh Ji Hyuk he is wrong about journalists but seem like he were right and they care only about their jobs/life ( but she tooks for excuses she did it for JH, DH and others who worked against corrupted people lmao girl you ruines they work and ther were préparés to sacrifice their carrers but not toi it seems )

I loved how in the first half there was only Dan Ho who was " awake " and then she tried to change the story. Little by little a bunch of others characters becomes also awake + they played a lot with the romance clichés and it was so funny when you know the true self of characters want something else most of the time ! Dan Ho and Ha Ru were so cute together trying to change the story !

BUT the second half seemed messy suddently and they made Dan Ho a crybaby all of sudden when she was NOT. Somehow it would have been interesting to " break" the romances clichés at that point to show there were some progress and characters are making they own stories. I was expecting them, I mean those aware, to wake up others characters and continue their " revolution ". But no, they choose the love triangle easiest solution, what a shame. Or perhaps my espectations were misplaced and I know it is a romantic comedy but it would have been better to keep the story around how they are characters from a book and try to overcome that with a bit of romance sometimes than just the old triangle cliché who forget what they were aiming for at first.

Love first half but found the second half soso...

I always love that kind of character who does not show his emotions at first but little by little shows them with people he likes : I am talking about how Ji Hyuk is way more smilling than before with Do Chang and Seo Kyung ! So cute.

I feel like it is detective Do Chang who will die in the end, he made me scared when he said something like he wants to leave as a great detective. I am afraid the writer will kill him at the end making him a good man until the end.

I hope I am right about the Lee Dae Chul fake death thing... I have the felling we will see a flashback later where the reporter talked to Ji Hyuk at the bar after he said " Others people are also important " and they make a plan together but they did not tell Do Chang

edit : It was kind of strange too how Lee Dee Chul looked at Oh Ji Hyuk with bright eyes like they were planning something or is it just my imagination x) But that would be possible with information and Oh Ji Hyuk's money...

So damn right. I can see sparking in their eyes when they look at each others and it is a person who prefer crime/suspense genre over romance who is saying it.

Yes she is such a b*tch :/ And I do not like Do Chang's sister too.

I hope it is just a plan to make the corrupted people believe that Lee Dae Chul is dead and everything is okay for them.....................if not I am really mad.

I just can not believe Seo Kyung would keep an important information for herself so I think later on we will see a flashback about her talking to Ji Hyuk about her boss. And perhaps her boss make a proposition (because he and his brother do not seem really bad, I do not feel them like vilains ) to make it believe Lee Dae Chul was executed.

Oh Ji Hyuk and Seo Kyung did not reveal anything to Lee Dae Chul, his daughter and Kang Do Chang to make it believable. I hope this is it because if not I am so sad :/

dramanice and kdramahood

There are some clichés I like and some clichés I just want it to dissapear because it ruins a good story ( I remember two cops where the story was totally forgotten for the sake of the silly romance ) : love triangle are often not really love triangle like you said because you know the obvious choice and even if it is a real love triangle it will be forced on the story and make you hate the silliness of the characters...


Spoil ahead ( Chief Kim ) :

I want to see more innovative things on this side : For example the FL being with the second lead and not the main lead. A good example was with Chief Kim, they did not make romance between the main lead and the FL (they were more like good friends) and she ends up with the second lead it was so cute.

But I guess it depends on tastes and I can not really blame people who love love triangle because I also love some sort of clichés like opposite personalities between a couple or detectives duo for example. I guess we are also here for that.

First point and second point : Too much of drama to chose one...Oh yes the one in " Wok of love " really broke my heart because the second lead really deserved someone he seemed like a lonely puppy.

Forced main couple or no-chemistry main couple : The King Eternal Monarch *cough cough*

Speaking in English when there’s no need and it makes the scenes really awkward : In mystic Pop Up bar there was a short moment like that when they make the bodyguard believe they are working for the CIA...

Aggressive product placement : That reminds me one episode in Waikiki Guest house when Lee Joon Ki must work with product placement it was so funny ! Usually I am not bothered by product placement but it was in King Monarch...

It is funny how I can be attached to the character of an actor up to thinking it is strange to see the same actor in another character; I take a while to get attached to the next one and it is not the actor's fault it is just that I really liked a character particularly. I really like how this actor acts : he was the sweetest in " Your Honor ", the funniest in " Psychopath diary " and now what ?

(I still did not start Train, I will wait a bit longer because I know how it is unberrable to wait a thriller drama airing but at the same time I want to watch it..............=(

This drama is interesting but somehow the title and the " interview "'s moments are too big as a clues if it is what I think it is. It kinds of remind me Trap because it is too much predictable.

I think painter Ho is in fact not dead. He had a cancer but recovered from it and gets the idea to test his family. The plan is simple : he prepared his will ready and put the condition that if one of his heirs read it before his lawyer then he/she would be remove from the list of heirs. He then gathered everyone for his birthday as a cover, sent the letters and faked his death. The goal is to see what people are able to do for money : I think he will reward the winner with his money and the losers will be ashamed in a game televised nationwide.

I means we are seeing everyone ( except Bit Ra and painter Ho ) in the present answering questions for what is seems to be a TV show ? Do you think the killer would just answer it calmly ? No, I think they were deceived and fell into the trap (I think painter Ho's mansion is full of cameras when he was interviewed with his wife and asks the broadcast's team to hide cameras).

Ok the other possibility would be that Bit Ra is the culprit but I just can not bring myself to believe it. Her mother would not answer quietly if her daughter was a murderer. Somehow they are all suspicious but I can not believe the vibe " who did it ? " because of the interview's moments. It kind of breaks the immersion but I guess it is a choice from the screenwriter.

So the obvious answer would be that Bit Ra will get the inheritance but I hope I am wrong and that she is perhaps hiding a dark side !
