I came into this movie, expecting it to be a kind of crime movie. The reviews were so harsh it brought the lead actor to tears. So I wanted to watch it without expectations.

Costumes and actors were great. For a short drama the quality was very high.
But I expected more brutality and violence after reading recommendations and reviews. But I find it very mild. Still looking for a CDrama/Kdrama that fits this on a very rainy day.
Honestly I expected more after some recommendations for a tragic and cruel heartbreaking story.. knowing China makes dramas in this genre. But this serie was from start to finish filled with bad decisions. Which let to their bad ending. And lot fillers: memories of past times. The โcrueltyโ was very mediocre. They looked fine after โtortureโ. The torture scenes were a few and if there not that gruesome. And the abuse: where? I honestly expected more.

So I began to be confused. Like, am I watching the criminal(s) or not? The nude scenes were unnecessary and inappropriate. This movie wouldโve been better without these. Wonโt rewatch it
