He's dead? How did he die? Did they show his remaining life leaving his body and then he dropped dead or just a cut to a "corpse" that belonged to him?

Well seeing as the director and writer of this drama was also the director of MJTY I'm sure he's going for a sad ending again. I just checked every single project he was involved in as the screenwriter and all of them since 2018 either have a Sad Ending or Open Ending so I'm pretty sure this drama isn't going to be the exception.

This show is just amazing! No white washing and turning famous historical figures known to be extremely ruthless into saints here like in Cao Cao (2015). This show accurately represents King Taejong for who and everything he was the good and the bad, emphasis on the bad.

I miss this drama, wish there was a season 2. Apparently there is a donghua and the trailer was released years ago, I hope atleast that comes out some day.

Why is the ML the FLs assistant in the trailer? Isn't he supposed to be a doctor lol? So either he quit to be her assistant, FL asked and his hospital thought It would be better for him to be an actresses assistant instead of saving lives as a doctor, or he's a similar situation to the FL in Hi Venus where the FL offended a higher up and now he's suspended or fired so he's chasing after the FL now as her assistant in the meantime

I was watching this then forgot about the show about a year ago, but I heard that at the end the MC leaves, then comes back to Korea to see the FL then leaves again and they don't end up together at the end because he can't come back to Korea, is that true?
