The writing was pretty weak, especially some parts, but I still enjoyed the show quite a lot. Episode 11 and some bits of Episodes 10 and 12 around it are supposed to be suspenseful but I admit watching it as pure comedy. My face now probably needs the services of Dr Cha Jeong U because of all the facepalming I couldn't help but do.

It could have been a really good social commentary but focussed too much on sensationalism and gratuitious violence.

@tigermother3, the drama in the link is Confess Your Love (https://kisskh.at/743897-confess-your-love). And the channel that posted the linked video looks shady because it has Xiao Zhan on the thumbnail, which is clearly an attempt to mislead.

Not really realistic but exciting.

Two minutes per episode dramas shot in vertical aspect ratio. Mostly low budget and low production value. Some awfully bad, some pretty decent for quick consumption.

I have a list on my profile called Microdrama actors where you can click on any of the actors and any drama with 60-100 episodes and these actors in main role wil be a vertical drama.

Painfully slow and not very well written. Relies too much on cliches, so it’s difficult to feel the characters for real. I managed to get halfway before its removal from Netflix and now not sure if to continue on Viki.

The female lead written as a klutz and airhead doesn’t help, as does not help the clueless male lead, though supposedly he is a good analyst and has at least some power of foresight. Also there is something off about the way the scenes are set and the transition between them.

Oh, and too many things spelled out through inner monologue rather than shown for audience to catch from nuanced acting.

Nice cast, crappy writing.
The character of the female lead is annoying. The character of the male lead is annoying. The character of the mayor is double annoying. The character of the second female lead is so one-dimensional that it hardly can be more. All friends and people around are horrible doing anything they can to prolong the misunderstandings. There's no character development: one step forward, two steps back, on an on around the same issue until the end.

Children trying to play love games, it seems.

Kim Hae Sil and Song Jung Geun as a couple are the only saving grace.

I disagree that Rika is the perfect person you want as your girlfriend/wife. She has her own issues and many. One time she says that she did everything for the relationship. From what I saw, though, it seemed she though the relationship with Kanji was doomed from the beginning and was running away from any tough situation or outright pushing her love-interest to another woman. Not a single time did she get serious and was sending lots of mixed signals. You cannot build a relationship on that.

Also she looks like she has an OCD, the version where you try to "preempt" a bad situation by bringing it about yourself. A very destructive thing.

There was not a single drop of love in this show. And never have I hated a character, not even the most evil ones, as much as I hated the goody two shoes Sekiguchi Satomi. What a manipulative character as she is written. The horror!

A bunch of broken people doing weird relationships because of their inability to sit down and talk to each other normally. That Sekiguchi Satomi looks very much like Victoria Ruffo in Simplemente Maria does not help. :)

But it's interesting to go back to early 90s. And in Japan at that.

After my stint of chain-watching vertical dramas this looks like a masterpiece!

Already episode 1 doesn’t make any sense. Not for me. ”Too many shows, too little time”, to paraphrase the song.

Also checked it on mobile. Only visible in landscape view. But I usually don't write comments on mobile, because for me it's way faster to type anything on normal keyboard. :)

I love the nostalgic feel they created in the drama. And you should never make a despicable evildoer so cute! Loved the leads and the main villain. Generic plot, yet still one of the better short dramas.

The drama is quite exciting and interesting but the scene with the train in Episode 1 was done the wrong way.

I mean four trained police officers and a level crossing attendant are standing around when the barriers are down. They surely know that the train is coming and are enough people to tackle the madman but they do nothing until the last second. Unrealistic, to say the least. Evokes the sense of disbelief rather than thrill.

Unnecessarily long.
