Young lady you are so talented! They are trying to scare you with a blacklist! It will only backfire! Find a gate…
I think it’s fair that a company try to make money on their actors, anything else is ridiculous. But there’s got to be a level of decency.
And the fans only care about the actors, so I don’t really understand how this atrocious business model can still thrive? What if the fans start to blacklist companies? Have they truly no fear?
One thing I generally dislike in dramas, is that the evil characters tastelessly allies with scum. And if you must ally with rapists, can you at least pick an intelligent rapist?
It would make a better drama if the foes are more formidable. Even if they want people they can easily manipulate, they would really need more capable people as well. To make it more realistic if nothing else.
I like this show a lot. I think I’ve seen it 4 times already. The actors are great, they really elevate the drama. I think the pacing is rather good. They make full use of the 40 episodes. The first time I watched it, I was waiting for her to regain her memories, but now I enjoy that part of the show more
FL's character is too naïve for someone as a reporter, also, her lack of common sense feels just implausible.
Agree. I’m only at ep 5, but that is my biggest grip so far. She is supposed to have great intuition but no brain? Why did they make her character like that.
Also, I feel she is way too blasé about the time slip or what we call it.
I really liked that she didn’t feel so modern. She was smart, she wasn’t condescending (so progressive in that sense), but clearly she could only be as she was because of her privileged status. She is not a groundbreaker trying to change the feng shui of the time. Sort of realistic, I would imagine.
if your involved in any case in china your basically better off out of the limelight for the time being, cuz public…
I know it’s a harsh climate for celebrities in China and South Korea. It’s very judgmental and complicated. But I don’t think it’s a voluntary shelving of projects. The public sentiment is of a goldfish nature after all, after a couple of months I doubt anyone care, and even if it gets some attention again after a drama is released, it won’t have the same impact again because people already know. Even if a person is guilty, a lot of innocent get punished when a work is shelved. I find that harsh.
After thinking about it for a long time, I finally realized what was bugging me about her enforced break. I truly believe every country has the undisputed right to govern themselves as they see fit, this of course includes China. But in these cases, the punishment comes before the crime. I understand the (desired) extreme deterrent factor. And I don’t know any circumstances surrounding her case, but at what point will you get suspended? Is it sufficient that someone reports you? It seems a little problematic to me, but as I also said; it’s up to each country to govern itself.
I love Reba, and I love Liu Yuning....and even that couldn't stop me checking out after one episode. It's so boring…
I also like Reba a lot, and her playful persona shines here and there in this. I also like revenge tales a lot. On paper, I should love this, but it’s just not good… sadly.
Very good at playing a sad and little pathetic bad guy. His performance in ADOS makes me very uneasy, and the moment when he truly snaps is scary good.

And complaining that someone makes a lot of money, if they are doing honest work; what’s the problem?

I cried most of ep 1, but if we read the script, it’s really nothing special. The actors are always the key.
