I feel like just because it's a vampire drama, people already have a bunch of expectations for it and keep on comparing it to those. That honestly just ruins it because there aren't that many vampire dramas so all these expectations come from western movies (should never be compared to kdramas). I feel like because there aren't many vampire dramas, we shouldn't criticize it that much since they're not as experienced. I came in watching this without any expectations and actually only worries. That might be why I like it more than half the people watching this. I was trying to make sure none of those negatives appeared and very few actually did. I wish everyone could just relax and try to enjoy it rather than constantly overly-criticizing it, maybe then people will like it.

I feel like the animation is pretty good compared to other dramas with CG. I watched this knowing that it wouldn't have Hollywood special effects, because let's face it, K-Dramas don't have much experience with these types of effects so I honestly think that it was done well. Also, he became a doctor because he wanted to save lives, not because he wanted a cure. That was just a bonus to it.

I was really worried about how the special effects will look since its my first vampire drama, but I gotta say that its really well done. I just hope the story throughout will be executed well too. So far, pretty good.

I feel like it's also due to them squishing all these plots from the manga into 16 episodes which is not easy. You have to remember that there have been so many jerk moments Naoki has in all versions but because this drama is so jam packed, it seems like he's a jerk every episode. Hopefully it won't continue on like this and get to the more happy plots from the manga!

I believe it is in the manga but this girl is a sort show up and then leave in 1 ep. This is just another event that happens to further strengthen Naoki and Kotoko's love.

It gets a lot better after ep 5. the beginning is a little boring and weird but after that, I started loving the drama

I'm debating whether or not I should watch this. I'm hearing both really good and really bad things about it. Is it worth watching now or should I wait for it to complete airing or should I just never watch it?

At the beginning I was really hesitant about continuing but it got a lot better. I recommend you continue watching at least until episode 8.

I completely agree! After watching this, I watched 3 other shows that did the same thing where I loved everything about it except for the last 10 min. I hope one day they will finally learn their lesson and make better endings instead of these crappy ones.

I hope this won't be a shipwreck. But I suddenly had this cool thought that what if they had Kim Soo Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun cameo in the American version. I would watch it just for that, although, I'm not all for this remake idea. I'm scared they might ruin the entire thing and don't I feel like My Love From Another Star is one of those dramas you should remake. There'll be too many expectations and comparisons between them and who wants to do that to an amazing drama?

I like Park Shin Hye. I am surprised that so many people don't like her.

Made it on my favorites list! I don't think I've seen such a cute drama before while still being able to emphasize the serious moments. I highly recommend this drama to anyone and everyone. I can assure you that you'll be smiling from ear to ear more often than your face can handle.

Does anyone else here just want to slap the heck out of Yoo Ae Yun at this point? She's seriously pissing me off!

Not yet but it seems that viki started subbing it again. I was too impatient and ended up just watching the rest without subs.

why did they suddenly change the title on here? it was bad family before and even had a different picture. i don't understand this.

Just finished watching this and to tell you the truth, it was amazing! It had such an awesome beginning and it kept me interested the entire way through. The only thing that disappointed me was the end. It was happy as I wanted it to be but I thought it left so many unanswered questions. I mean, did he regain his memory after or not? Why wasn't Eun Gee running the company anymore and instead selling crappy cookies? Awesome story but they should have changed just those last 5 minutes.

Nooooooo! I'm so scared of what's going to happen in the end. Ep 18 was so cute but heart-aching at the same time. But the end was soooo cute. He was going to propose but he was so hesitant. He should of just left all the balloons and let her see it. That would've been awesome!
