In some way, I can understand why many people say that DOTS is overrated - because it doesn't have a main plot, and yes I agree with the plot-thing, but in my opinion, this drama doesn't need a main plot. Why? Because that isn't the focus (I think).
DOTS is all about showing the sacrifices soldiers and docters do for their respective nation (and ofc the romance between the leads, but that's not what makes this one of my favorite shows, and the reason why I don't think it's overrated). Because even though their jobs are in their way to find love and live the lives they want, they still stand strong on their beliefs due to their jobs and love for their nation.
I think we in our daily lives forget what some people have to go through to protect and take care of our countries, so we are able to live a comfortable life without worries. And that's what DOTS perfectly potrait, yes sometimes overdone, but beautifully.
Does anyone know if this drama is based on a real manwha?? I believe it is based on a manwha because I've read it somewhere (I think) but I can't find it anywhere...
