First apologies if this has already been covered but can somebody explain how/when during the show JNY became…
We assume that she took a loan, but it wasn't really explained in the episodes, it's left to the viewers' imagination. As for why she isn't helping the family... well, for starters, she doesn't consider the Jins as her family, not even Doyoung. And secondly, she's a selfish, uneducated, incompetent b*tch, focused on her mission only: to become prestigious and rich and surpass Suji.
How will NY make her dream of becoming Mrs Han come true with SJ & SY planning their attacks on her?I'm sure NY…
At this point she's playing the cat/mouse game. You may be right that SJ may give in; Woori will not. Plus, she is at a disadvantage now and will definitely make mistakes. She will certainly reap what she sowed.
Btw, how can she marry without telling them her real name? It doesn't make sense. She needs to sign documents. Forgery??? She's capable, but for how long?
Did y'all notice Jintae's look when NY switched off her phone? He's not buying her fake persona. I am more than certain that he'll be the one to know who she is via Sunyoung. We all know that he confides in her... it's coming sooner or later!
Actor playing male lead isnβt cutout to play lead roles, plus the way the lead role is written and his goofy…
I think his goofy personality prior the reveal of his birth secret was intentional. I suspect that writers will level up Woori's character once (and whether) he becomes Hyunsung's rival for the inheritance.
After Behind your touch, I hate every attempt of inserting unecessary thriller elements in comedy, especially if the comedic arc is working so well. Idk if I'll continue watching, ep2 was a lot worse than the pilot imo. Shame because the actors are so good, but I'm afraid the material they have to work with is poor.
i agree all the way , specially FLs mother the worst dangerous evil villain ,, YE JIN the most stupid malakismeni…
Well, I think the term suits better the male lead's mother.π She gets on my nerves coz she considers her son as her property. Can't wait to see her crumble when she learns who his bio mother is.
Beauty & Mr Romantic has broken the record of having the most villains in a drama. π€£ Practically, except Mari and the main couple, everybody else is a villain one way or the other.
I still can't warm up to the new cast and am still struggling with ep2.π« I miss Krystal so much! Perhaps it'd be better if there weren't a sequel. The original is still stuck in my head.
I'm really struggling with it (on ep3 now) and can't follow the story. Im fact, I don't really know what the story is, lol. I think it's going to be added to the Dropped list.
I watched reluctantly at first, but here I am totally in love with this drama! It's funny and cute and emotional with the right porpotions of each. I hope it goes on like this until the end. Jihwan is a sweet mobster, indeed! Kwon Yool seems to be liking the "prosecutor-in love with the girl-but not winning it" roles. His role here is similar to the role he played in Longing for you. Fingers crossed he doesn't turn into evil later!
NY is too scheming though; I think she will end up in the family even against their wishes. I think she is going…
Exactly. There are so many side plots that can make the drama running for the next 60 episodes without necessarily HS/NY actual marriage being one of them, but rather the attempt of it. Side plots just as Sunyoung/Jintae, Jintae/Mari, Mari/Woori, Hyunsung/Woori, Woori vs Nayoung are more than enough. And you are right about the director; he's also a factor.
As for the preview, I am quite sure that Nayoung pretended illness to avoid a meeting with Sunyoung. Let's see what happens on Monday!

Yep, that's why I said that the key is Jintae's/Mari's relationship. It'll take long but they'll be together again and then it's game over. My guess is that Sunyoung will make Jintae aware of who Nayoung really is after she gets engaged or marries (?) Hyunsung. I put questionmark in the marriage plot coz I'm not sure that'll happen. She's a schemer, but is also stupid and delusional. The scene where her mother warns her is a foreshadow imo.
I think NY has completed her mission to weasel her way into HS's life...with a pregnancy. Here is where the fun…
NY took advantage of their emotional distance, but once that is fixed, she'll be finished. The key is the bond Jintae and Sunyoung share. The trust and friendship they have built over the years. Jintae isn't a long term fool; neither of them is. It's gonna be so fun!

The pregnancy subplot has begun?!?
I didn't like the first 2 episodes and I'm still struggling to finish ep2. Imo the story is disjointed, but who knows? maybe it gets better later.
I finished S1 a few days before S2 aired so it's still fresh in my head. I think I'll wait for it to end, too.
