His friends were in prison, Nagyeom was arrested but released and his father died after confronting Claudius Terlinden (Gutak). His mother regained consciousness, I think, and was the heir of Claudius Terlinden's dead brother's fortune, meaning that Tobi became filthy rich.

I am so into well executed, acted, slow burn melodramas. October is such a generous month as it's having two of the best imo 2024 dramas: WCAL and DH. What can I say about this masterpiece? The acting and the hidden poetry in every scene have blown my mind away. Can't wait for the next episode.

That was a very long chapter in the novel and Amelie almost died. However, the drama has intensified the tension which was kinda lukewarm in the novel, and the bromance is top notch, lol.
