Please give me a reason to like the character of the FL. I especially dislike that anything perceived as wrong…
Let's see as the narrative will unfold. To me, the 1st episode was just a symbolic introduction. To me, I don't think the FL is actually mad at the ML , rather she is mad at the tragic happenings in the past in those seasons and times they spent together. It's my own guess into the show though, they described it as a healing drama for each character, so let's see how it goes.

any guesses as to who the second couple might be?
Second couple here is Jung Bo Min and Ahn Dong Goo.

As for our main roles, it's a love triangle between Jaewook, Sungeun and Gunwoo character, which I believe it's going to be a non toxic love triangle, at the end, Gunwoo character will back out.

ive watched so many bad dramas this year, but this one managed to be one of the worst.
I see dear hongrang as a great potential wasted just because of one decision to make it a Netflix original series. So they had to shuffle such a deep, dark and heavy storyline into just 11 episodes ๐Ÿคง.

It would have been great if it was a tv drama. the drama needed lowest 24 episodes to be able to execute the story and characters well.

I don't believe the story and characters were badly written, they were badly presented to us on screen; underdeveloped cause of time, and that alone destroyed everything

The major and only problem I see in this drama is the lack of episodes which resulted in the many issues we are all complaining here.

I mean how will you write a drama and characters with such deep, dark and heavy theme and give it only 11 episodes? Who does that. This drama needed at least 24 episodes to convey the story they plan to execute. So many intriguing characters and concepts that are fresh and rarely seen in kdrama introduced but sadly lack of time to develop them. So they shoved everything together and at the end, it became shallow and unsatisfying. So much potential just wasted.

While watching,. If felt like I was watching season 2 of the show, like there was a season 1 before that I haven't watched. I saw the potential of the story, I saw unique characters with each their own motivation and story but I couldn't connect with them because they didn't have time to lay the foundation and develop the story and each character from the scratch; giving us a view of what drives them to do what they do.

Who even told them to make this a Netflix original. This should have been a TV drama, programed for weekly release and they will get the opportunity to have more episodes too

Lee Jae wook needs to choose better scripts and not just churn a lot of projects before military service imo.…
Let's wait and watch his upcoming drama in November "Last Summer" it's his first drama in this new agency. If it's good then we will know the problem was his agency

Writing matters much more than direction IMO. Radio Romance was OK, but not great, so I am also worried, but the…
Radio Romance was her first drama as a writer; so I was a bit impressed since it was her very first drama, then she did Kiss Sixth Sense which was great from the premise, but towards the end miss some marks. This is 3 years after her last drama, so I hope she had learnt and perfected the art already before going for this one.

Even if you hated Hong Rang LJW performance was superb so at least it had that going for it lol. He picked so…
Hoping so too. Jaewook needs to get serious about his script picking

However this one is, I will sit through it because of him cause I know for sure it will be at least better than impossible heir. Wishing him good and powerful script for all his upcoming and future drama though . He should learn how to only pick great dramas even if it means him appearing once in a while on screen. That's how he can maintain his relevance

Dear Hong Rang was a 10/10 work of art.
Your opinion is respected. After all, we all have our different ways of comprehending media. Personally, dear hongrang wasn't perfect; it could have used a few more episodes to stretch the story and characters out properly which I believe was the only issue of the drama (well Netflix is to be blamed for that). But everything else was perfect. If you have media literacy as a movie watcher, you will get to understand the story and it's message. Unless it's just not your type of drama

from the production team to the messy twin lead plot this looks like it'll be really bad if i'm being honest,…
I don't think a drama being low budget automatically makes it bad. And indeed, it's alright to be afraid for this due to the director's last drama that was a mess. But then, the director has also made very good dramas too so we will never know untill it airs.

She has longer hair in her college years and short hair as an adult. I think her short hair fits her too
