Ahah, no way Day forgets his memory again in the final episode. No way. I've seen too many BLs to believe in this fake-out. Nice one director, nice one.
I’m genuinely curious, why did Itt send Gear to fool night? I’m assuming that the series is not going to say…
They didn't give a valid reason in the books. He thought it would be fun to dare Gear to r*** Night because he knew Night liked Gear. He's mentally messed up, that's the only reason.
I can't wait till they start getting cute, I don't mind the slow burn but I'm def looking forward to the future episodes. My thoughts thus far:
The only characters that really annoy me is Ying and her gang, she gossips worse than anyone I've ever heard and truly, she's too old for it; it's so immature and silly. Obviously office gossip is unavoidable, but their level of gossip is just too much.
Pat does get annoying with his inability to control his emotions, but the defence I'm accepting for him is that he has hypersensitivity and had always been coddled by his friends. So as it's his first time receiving feedback in a work environment, he gets offended over anything at all that sounds just a bit negative. I try to just not think (say buh-bye logic) and go with the flow and it ends up being way more entertaining.
Jeng is my favourite character, but I'm a bit biased. I like what they've shown us about him and I look forward to uncovering what happened between him and his family. And he's like, everyones dream boss, dunno what people are gossiping for.
Jarb and Jen are a bit confusing, I like Jarb's silly character but I'm not sure what their purpose serves. Jen is taken, so it Jarb going to be the reason they break up? I don't like how close he's been getting to Jen, but we'll see where it goes. Overall, I really like the show.
I'm just finished episode 3, I don't know what is going to happen in the following episodes but so far this series…
EXACTLY! This is why you never trust MDL with the ratings. This deserves an 8 AT LEAST. It's so well written imo.
I don't think people in the comments are being toxic (that word gets thrown around way too much), but I think Pat's behaviour, the pace, and the office gossip is causing a lot of people to drop. It's perfect for me. Pat was getting a bit annoying, but then someone here said he might have hypersensitivity and I was like "that actually makes sense", the pace is purrfect, the gossip is annoying but I don't mind it too much.
Does anyone know that Pat might be a hypersensitive person, that's why he's easily angry, stressing over things…
That's a good point! I never thought of that! It would actually make so much sense as to why he cries over the littlest things, gets offended over everything, and makes rash decisions where they aren't needed.
4 eps in and I'm bored. It's not about the slow progression of the romance. I'm fine with that. I like a realistic…
Honestly, the biggest reason I love this is because of Man, (his visuals✨) but I see what you mean. Ying is annoying along with just about everyone in there besides Nan; Jeng is the nicest boss I've ever seen. My Father has a company and I 𝒃𝒆𝒕 his employees wish he was that nice and forgiving.
Pat is very immature and has no emotional control. He expects everything to be all sunshine and rainbows and his work to get nothing but praise. He's also WAY too hasty. All that being said, I still love the show and somehow, I manage to not mind the annoying characters and just hope that Pat has some mental development and that Jeng can knock some sense into him.
I hate it when people contrast two different Bl series, like seriously you guys never learn! You are at episode…
I dropped a Boss and a Babe quite early on, and I love this show so I will be biased. I haven’t watched ep 4 of ABAAB and I don’t plan on doing so. I also haven’t watched ep 4 of this show, I’m still on 3.
You also didn’t answer my question, what in your opinion do you not like about people comparing shows?
CW EP 2: Ben's English is phenomenal!! Everyone's English in this show is better than usual, it's obvious they're trying hard to get those heavy American syllables down, but it's far better than the slavic-sounding actors they find with terrible English.
I'm wondering why they did the presentation and meeting in English when nobody in the room spoke it as a first language.
I'm on episode 1 and MY GOSH, Ying is an annoying person. So annoying. Why are so many women in BL like this? Is this how women in Thailand actually act or is just a tv thing?
Also, the seniority thing in the office is a bit annoying. Sure, in the west you'll get older people who are like "I'm older than you therefore better and more experienced", but not to this extent. Wisdom does not always come with age.

So your problem with people comparing BLs is that one is almost finished and the other isn't? What about when both are finished and have similar plot lines? What's the problem with comparing then? Not trying to be rude, just genuinely curious because I see ppl saying this all the time on MDL.
MDL: The New employee was just fluffThe Director who buys me Dinner was too shortAmeiro Paradox was all about…
Looool. I liked The New Employee and the Director who buys me Dinner (although I will admit, I was aching for more when it was over), Ameiro Paradox was cute too, and I'm loving Step by Step.
I wasn't interested in Bed Friend, and I dropped A Boss and a Babe though.
