I wonder if it's easier for Thai speakers to learn Mandarin due to it being a tonal language than it is being an English speaker. I tried to learn Thai and almost gave up due to the tones, and Mandarin seems much harder.
A real crime, you mean? (Because that literally is a crime. Also, morally sick...)
Right, I meant a parent hitting a child, which isn't really what you were talking about ig. I will revisit this comment when I get some sleep, it's like 2 in the morning here. Nothing's making much sense.
The biggest problem for me is Alex and RJ's relationship, we got steady but slow progress in the beginning and then -boom- RJ just disappeared out of the story right up until the last ep. They got no closure, not enough screen time, or anything. They should've just focused on having two complete stories rather than one complete one and two unsatisfying ones.
And the abuse thing, I wouldn't mind it as much if there had been some buildup for that sort of thing. We got no hint of Xun An having that sort of family life until the second to last episode, it was very random and unnecessary. I do hate the father, but I can understand why Xun An put up with it. He isn't going to hit his father back or anything like that because he wasn't raised thinking that sort of thing was wrong. Filial respect and gaining the approval of your parents seems to be a very big thing in these countries, so I honestly feel like Xun An going to those extreme lengths to get it could be realistic. It happens in real life so I'm not upset it happened here, I just don't like the way it was introduced and glossed over as if it was ok.
This was honestly perfection! I wasn't expecting much but it definitely turned out way better than I thought. A BL hasn't made me shed tears in a while, but that reunion got to me. It was so cute! I love the hint that even though they can only stay for a certain amount of days, it'll become easier and they'll get to stay for longer every time. This was *chef's kiss*
Listen, I don't care how horny or buzzed they were, in my opinion, public bathroom sex is disgusting. Like gross, they're definitely going to have their hands or body pushed up against the germ-ridden wall. Especially in a bathroom like that.
hey cupcake!!! watcha watching now days???? dont see you a lot
Yep I definitely am! My friend is super into kdramas but I haven't wanted to watch any besides Rookie Cops. I do like cdramas but my gosh they're so long. The next one I want to try is The Untamed.

Hey! I don't see you often as well! I'm on the feeds a lot though. I've been watching Between Us, My School President, Never Let Me Go, Ameiro Paradox, 609 Bedtime Story, I Will Knock You, War of Y, My Tooth Your Love, and The Director Who Buys Me Dinner.
I've been watching a lot, lol. What have you been watching?
What's going on with Cheng Hao? I was expecting to get ahead in their story and we didn't get much.
Also, I have mixed feelings about Xun An, I know hitting children as punishment is common is those countries, where my grandparents come from it's quite common too, but grown adults? And I don't mean a 20 year old who technically has not fully developed mentally, but a grown ass 30 year old man? I did not know that happened.
This is literally so good! It needs to be longer. Why is it that rubbish BLs are getting all these long run times while the interesting ones are so short? I love this.
Mark promoting himself in Bad Buddy is hilarious 😂. GMMTV are really good at promoting one series through others. I've lost count of how many times BB has been referenced this year.
I don't know why, but I can't stop screaming "JUST SAY YOU DON'T LIKE HIM!" at Thi when the perfect opportunity shows up and he just stays quiet.
It seems like this is going one of two ways, either Thi will finally tell Noey he never liked him, and then realise he does, or Thi will end up liking him and the fact that he didn't like him in the beginning will never be revealed. I'm thinking the latter because he's already started to fall for him. These past five episodes, I've just been waiting for Thi to say he isn't into Noey(it would be so satisfying), but it doesn't look like that's happening, so next ep I'll just let myself enjoy the silliness instead of internally screaming at it.

I'm stuck between 8 and 8.5 stars.

Well that was helpful.
